Graham Cornes didn't even know Travis's father had passed away and in one of his early interviews on 5AA proceeded to ask him questions like "How are your parents handling your move away from home?", and "I bet your dad's feeling really proud of you at the moment. Does he play a bit of footy himself? Is he a bit of a legend in the Torquay area?". I remember cringing until I could cringe no more and had to turn the radio off. What a train wreck.

As reporters and media personalities they should be doing their research on who they are interviewing before they interview them.
As many have said before, these south australian media hacks would struggle to get a job and hold it interstate.

They keep making these "mistakes" with Port players because of their hate for the club.
They simply don't give a shit. If it was up to them they wouldn't bother with Port except for throwing mud at the club when we lose a game or something doesn't go as expected.
If it was a Crows player, even their shittiest player, you can bet your life savings that these mongrel dogs in the media would know every little fact, especially that the blokes father has passed away. But Port's captain...nah, who gives a shit.
