Kick-a-Vic is real tingle edged SA Great/West End dinosaur attitude GremioPower it's not a Port Adelaide thing

I didn't mean "literally," of course. Besides, "Kick-a-Vic" should be used as pedagogical tool against pride; not, as a life motto. I could bet that "kicking-a-Vic" every now and then would keep Victorians healthly in check.

Yes to SEN on the AM dial in Adelaide but that changes to a No if they get Aiston back to host mornings again.

Yes to taking in a revamped nationally broadcast SEN. My guess is this is what Hutchy is shooting for. None of this "SA only segment" nonsense with boobs like Aiston.
In bringing in Kane he seems to be recruiting SA guys with a national profile who won't be on the nose in Victoria. Likewise the poaching of Whateley as a Victorian who isn't on the nose outside of Melbourne.

How old are you?
Anyone north of 60, perhaps 55 might not be on your technological "level". Radio works for a shedload of the seniors.
As a 47 year old I listen to a lot of radio on the internet and drive my wife crazy buying internet radios. Presently I have a pure evoke F3 ( I bought on a trip to the uk as there is a lot more choice there) which is linked to an iPhone app for changing stations etc. It doesn't have am so I would have to use the internet for staions like SEN even it was in Adelaide. Listening to am in Adelaide is pretty hard work for me other than radio national.

I know what you mean, and although the "Kic-a-Vic" slogan has its origin in the old VFL (pre-AFL) days when the Vics thought the sun rose & set in Victoria, and it was their right to pillage every player in the country, the Victorian monopoly & snobbery still rankles here.

Having a good SA rep in Cornes gets a higher media profile & is good for SA & Port IMO.

A few weeks ago I saw some dickhead rack up abundant likes, loves and hahas for saying something akin to, "just like you couldn't get a kick in the 2007 Grand Final, Kane".

He literally had the most touches of all 44 players who took the field that day and won All-Australian and B&F honours that year.

At a time when we've never had fingertip access to literally all the information. Yikes.
this is the worst 'well actually...' i've ever read but well done

The AdelaideNow site has bypassed the old open in private/incognito google search trick of accessing their paywall articles - however, there is a way I discovered should anyone want to read their stories. Search for and install "De-tiser" extension on Google chrome and you are good to go.

Vale AdelaideNow.

lol no one is going to pay for that shit, surely

There's a couple of chaps on here that most certainly do. One or 2 that seem to sit on it and post the articles as soon as the monkey in Waymouth Street has butted his cigarette and cleared it.

It doesn't work all the time, but often I can access a paywalled article that has been embedded in a tweet - that's how was able to read the article about the upcoming internal trial, by clicking on the article in this tweet:

I would have included more of the article in my post in the Preseason 2018 thread, but it seems only REH can openly flout BF rules and post whole articles, and Rupert looks like he's got him stumped atm ;)

Generally they post an indecipherable link to a paywall article with no description of what the article is about. Drives me nuts.

While trolling for Joel Selwood free kick stats I hit a Herald Sun paywall.

$1 a week for the first month, $7 a week thereafter

Literally who is their market

Fat dude that King hit Port supporter from behind on the hill at the Showdown last year was in court today. Curiously, Ch 7 did not report what team he supported.....

Because he was merely an "Adelaide Oval patron" at the time of arrest, he remains an "Adelaide Oval patron" now.

At least this means that we can be 100% certain about which team he doesn't support.
