We need genuine quality midfielders. Picturing him in the centre square is laughable.

He is a seriously good player and will handle the midfield like a boss. Not being dropped ever in his career from the day he was upgraded from a rookie kind of shows how much this guy is rated internally.

I won't deny for a second our list is thin!

The only positive way of thinking about it is that Collingwood was around the 4th-5th most inexperienced team this year and finished a game out of the finals. It's not much at all, but I'll take it especially after looking at the rabble that is Melbourne and Saints. Caff, Shaz and now Beams is a major setback to this team.

I don't think Sinclair is a good enough kick to play on the wing, I'd rather Young. Sinclair as a shut down defender I wouldn't mind if Williams gets more midfield time.

We will have a very young list with a substandard midfield. There's a few justifiable excuses already.

Every team gets a first round draft pick. You should be able to find at least one young kid in the draft each season without selling the farm the AFL looks after that side for you.
We haven't been trading to improve the team we've been trading to get back to square one. We've been trading out a premiership player for a pick for the past 3 years and its still happening. It back to square 1 each season. It's gone from bad to worse. For me now Buckley has to go, enough players have left to show me theres massive problems down there.

That will be the new "injury excuse." I can almost guarantee it. Good effort Collingwood. Youngest team in the AFL. Great effort.
Couldn't even tell you who the youngest team in the AFL was perviosuly because i didnt give a **** because we did what we were meant to do and thats win games of footy.

That would be a real shame, could be one of the best attacking defenders in the competition if given the chance.
