Lol. I think you've found vinum coupe 's favourite song DF!
Go on and criticize that one VC :D

Had a laugh at the backing singer's little pink singlet

Don't think there's too many cover songs that I prefer to the original either (or maybe there is, and I just don't know that they're covers o_O)

I would love to hear Meryl Streep singing Abba, but can't find it
Have you seriously not seen mamma mia?

Here's a great example of how anyone can make ABBA sound ok.

Now THAT is a cover.

I want to see someone beat that.
My favourite cover of all time is Johnny Cash doing his version of Hurt, which was originally performed by Nine Inch Nails. I' m not clever enough to embed the vids, but I'm sure you can find them both with a quick Google search if you don't know them. The song was first released by NIN in 1994 and was covered by Cash in 2002, and was seen by many as his version of his own epitaph (he died a year or so later). The Cash piano and vocals are amazing.

not a huge fan of nirvana but an awesome cover:

Gee I never knew that was a cover. I don't reckon Bowie fans would like it.
Was into Nirvana before Cobain died. Really pissed off we lost him. The guy had an edge.

Nah we do! Great cover version.

Station to Station is still Bowie's best though.
