if you actually want to see the greatest love story ever told watch Anoiri Love Wagon Asian Journey season 1. The journey of Shy Boy... is amazing, i rank him as the greatest character on any TV reality show ever. But the show is really innocent (and japanese) . The end of his arc had me bawling my eyes out and i never cry at love stories. Its great!! but takes a while to get into

Liked it too. 20 minute eps meant it was binged pretty quick. More than just carrie vibes. Virtually copies a whole section of it. Also a whole breakfast club episode. Didn't detract though.

I Am Not OK With That.

Just thought it was ok. Didn't like any character apart from Stan. Lesbian angst teenager meh. The standard US high school tropes for the other characters. I thought the last ep should have been the middle of this series then progressed. Good soundtrack with Prefab Sprout, Aztec Camera, Pixies. Overall, nowhere near the level of TEOTFW.

Spenser Confidential

Having read the books by Robert B Parker a long time ago and enjoyed them I am looking forward to this

I had also watched the Robert Urich tv show

I have started it and yeah - has possibilities.

It's good. I really enjoyed it.

Yeah it was ok. Can see the potential of a tv series or limited season series.

Sure there are a lot of cop tropes in this - but thats because Parker created a lot of those tropes a long time ago

Really enjoying the 2nd season of Sex Education.

Also so happy they've put so many Ghibli films up there, so keen to dig into the ones I haven't seen yet (Nausica, Kiki, Mononoke)

Finished with Sex Education.

I find with a lot of these kind of shows I enjoyed them more when I was 16, 17, because its heavily directed at that age group. Overly preachy, some very unrealistic dialogue that's meant to seem cool and sophisticated for a high schooler. Shows like End of the ****ing World, Looking for Alaska and the like. And Sex Education gets to that point very occasionally, but overall it is very very good at getting its point across without the YA bullshit.

Didn't like 2nd season of Sex Education. It was fine up to episode 4, then the storylines just got stupid for the rest of the season. Dont think i'll be watching season 3.

Den of Thieves - clearly inspired by Heat. Was sort of passable but if you were wanting to see how a heist film is really done I would say go straight to the source and watch Heat and forget this one ever - existed unless you're really at a loose end for something to watch(and haven't seen Heat). A generous 5/10.
i really like this movie. watching it again now. first time on netflix however

I find that most of the content on Netflix is hidden. Occasionally I come across a film by accident that I had no idea was on this streaming service.
Check out the links in this post. Heaps of hidden list and whatnot full of different content.

Finally finished Arrested Development - never hit the heights of the first three seasons but there were glimpses. Finale was okay and satisfying enough - overall a wonderful comedy which launched the careers of several of its stars. A worthy enough binge, especially S1-3 and you can also stop before S4 and it doesn't matter really in the grand scheme of the plot.

S1-3 - 10/10
S4-5 - 5/10
