Amarty won't be playing so keane gets a reprieve. But I'm sure nicks will not have a plan for sydneys only 2 effective players.
We don't have a matchup for heeney... he's going to kick 4 or 5 on us. I like worrell on him if he's forward but in the midfield I think we should try Cummings even though he's not known as a midfielder.

However, I think we should beat Sydney at the SCG, given their injuries and suspensions.

I think 2-2. We'll find a win against either Sydney or Brisbane. As mentioned above, 2-2 is enough that we should probably play finals from there, 8-6 at the bye with a fairly soft run home and solid percentage.

Agree. And he did a tremendous job of rebuilding the culture. But we have seen enough from 23, 24, 25 to know he is not a smart gamey coach.
Would have been perfect to go to West Coast last year and spend 3 years getting them back on their feet.
I think he is a bit conservative and rigid in his backing of players on game day, it might be the reason we get behind the game but also the reason we fight back and don't give in, rarely losing by 6-10 goal margins.
We need more spectacular than solid against the Swans next week.

During Nicks' tenure, we have a 5-2 record against Carlton, with Nicks going 1-1 against Teague, and Burns going 0-1 against Voss.
Against the Saints, we have played 6 games under Nicks, who is 3-0 against Lyon (current streak) and 1-2 against Ratten.

Hyperbole… but likely to be one of the most important games of Matthew’s career next week. Simply have to win. No more excuses. Up against a team out of form and inconsistent, away yes, but they’ve already dropped four at home this year.

And we are not great in away games especially vs the middle table sides. Against teams like Collingwood we always give it our best.
If we played Melbourne at the MCG today they would have beaten us too.
