Don't know about that exact criteria but Jack kicked 53 goals in his second season, including a bag of 4 in the finals.

30 goals in his first season (17 games) - a bunch of which he was the sub. 45 goals in his second season

I think that puts him in the same ball park as Stringer

The criteria was:
Have any of those players kicked 47 goals in a 19 game streak, with that 19 game streak coming within their first 38 games, like Stringer has done?

Gunston didn't. Between games 20-38 he scored 40 goals which was his best haul from a 19-game streak within his first 38 games.
Darling didn't. Between games 20-38 and 18-36 he scored 35 goals which are both his equal best haul from a 19-game streak within his first 38 games.
Breust didn't. Between games 20-38 he scored 39 goals which was his best haul from a 19-game streak within his first 38 games.
So no, they are not as good as Stringer in that regard.

I think that's a photo of breust
My bad, post edited accordingly. Point being is that none of them meet or even within 7 goals of Stringer's record/criteria of most goals in a 19-game streak within your first 38 games. Cameron is the one who's beaten it.

Yep he would have to be.

Cameron kicked around about 50 from 15 games from game 19 - 35. Freak!!
52 in 14 games from Game 21 (Round 5, 2013 vs Gold Coast) to Game 34 (Round 20, 2013 vs Fremantle). Was kicking goals like no other inexperienced player has in recent times, indeed a freak.
The fact that Stringer is second to only him (as far as I'm aware unless people want to throw up a different name) says a lot about both Stringer and Cameron.

Yeah agree, no doubt Hogan will be in this group before long and I'd include Darling as well (52 games in his 2nd season is an excellent effort).

Taller KPF's forwards (197cm +) such as Lynch, Patton, Daniher, Tom Boyd etc, all have taken longer/will take longer to hit the scoreboard like those others have. Can throw Hawkins in that mix too.

Goes to show that (191 - 195cm) tall forwards nearly always have a greater impact earlier in their careers than the really big ones.

Not saying they got there, just that they are in the same ball park. :)

Those are pretty specific criteria specifically chosen to make him look good.
How many players kicked 50 goals over a 24 game streak with that 24 game streak coming within their first 36 games? Jack Anthony for one. (Not saying Stringer is an Anthony)
In fact he kicked 45 over a 19 game streak coming within his first 32 games.

It's not particularly specific after Stringer has played 19 games since he returned from a short stint in the VFL. He's also currently played 38 games.
That's where those numbers come from - it's not like I've cherrypicked games that suit stringer. I'm counting the 19 games he's played as a streak since he returned from the VFL and played as a key defender for a handful of games before he got dropped in 2014, and I can't extend past 38 games because he obviously hasn't played more than 38 games.

Look at his record on AFL Tables:
He kicked 12 goals in his first 10 games all coming in 2013
He kicked 2 goals in 3 games before being shiften to key defence. He was then dropped after Round 10 and returned again in Round 15. That was the 20th game of his career and including that game, he's kicked 47 goals in this 19 games since he returned from the VFL across two seasons, all coming within the first 38 games of his career, because that's how many he's played in total. That's where I get the figures 19 and 38 from, because it's the same length/amount of games played that Stringer has when he returned to the AFL team after a spell for our reserves. It's not like he went goalless in games 39, 40, 41 and then I'm cherrypicking them out, because he hasn't played them yet, plain and simple. It's also not like I'm picking specifically 38 or 19 because those numbers suit the other players - I hadn't even looked at other players before I picked those numbers, so I wouldn't have a clue how many goals Breust and Darling kicked specifically between games 39 and 50 so to say.

45 isn't 47, by the way.

Tl;dr but again you're probably picking and choosing.
For the bolded, Anthony kicked 21 goals in his first 10 games, that's better than 12.
And no 45 isn't 47, but 38 isn't 32, by the way.

Y'know when someone takes the time to type up a proper reply to you, saying tl;dr makes you come across as a complete douche...

Just think how many goals Jakey Boy would have if he could kick a set shot? He's probably missed 25 goals in that time. The boy's a star and is not like many others in the comp. Not many have the speed, power (he never gets tackled) and creativity he has.

Another 4 goals today (should have been five if not for one being wrongly overturned on reply) including one goal of the year contender. Has now kicked 40 goals for the year while also spending time in the midfield.

Will be an amazing player for years to come

Future forward that plays part time midfield, or midfielder that rests forward?

Dunno, he's a bit Ablett Snr like with his ground ball ability being able to kick miracle snaps and stuff, but his general forward play is inbetween a Dangerfield/Pavlich I guess.

Hopefully he kicks 50 for the year and gets into the AA squad of 40

Surely 50 goals get him in the squad. Love how when games on the line he can kick 2/3/4 goals within 10 mins
