These are the young midfielder kids who've shown the most IMO from a selection of clubs.

Palmer. Already gets tagged quite a bit. Shows how much players see him as a big game player.
... But i reckon Pendlebury and Selwood are already high quality midfielders. Pendlebury looks like he could really go the next level and become one of the top couple of players in the comp while Selwood has to live up to his already lofty standards.
Pearce? You must be joking. Worst rising star winner of all time.from that list:
1-murphy
2-selwood
3-palmer
and it's a joke that wonamaerri, jack and masten and are in ahead of boak and pearce.![]()
Jay Neagle...just watch out

Just because he's good doesn't mean he's the next Buddy Franklin.
You must be seriously depraved of talent if you think Neagle is good enough to be the next Lance Franklin
90% of the players mentioned in this thread will be stars - BUT - they have already shown they won't be as big as Judd/Buddy/Ablett and they will be top 25 players of the comp, not top 3.
Trent Cotchin has already shown he could be a top 3 player within 2-3 years.
Take Marc Murphy. He'll be a star for 10 years! But he's consistently great, not an unstoppable freak of nature. He'll be a top 40 player most of his career, never a top 3.
The question should be reworded to "who will be the next Judd, Buddy and Ablett in 3 years?" in which case I would select Cotchin, Gibbs and maybe Kreuzer.
