New Zealand bowler Bob Cunis a good name for the entendre XI. Only reason I have heard of him is that a commentator allegedly described his bowling as “like his name, neither one thing nor the other”. Seems to fit this theme rather well!

Obscure fact rather than obscure XI
Until a couple of years ago when they started using the Bay Oval as an alternative to Adelaide Oval the only time a first class game was played away from there was when Lord Hawke's XI played South Australia at Unley (now Peter Motley) Oval in 1902/03 because the AO was being used for bike racing.

Might be stretching the friendship but must have been hard to overlook Ost-Richie Ost-Richardson, Beau Cass(owary)on, Ka-geese-o Rabada, Fred Titmus, and umpire Col (Budger)Egar

Nice list, but I probably would have Chris Martin in over Jackson Bird. The cricinfo profile of him by Brydon Coverdale (better known as The Shark from The Chase) is a hilarious read, he described his batting as "outrageously feeble" and that getting him out was as difficult as making a cup of tea and often took less time. Despite his batting, he was a decent seamer with 71 tests and nearly 250 wickets.

Also, no Shane Warne (tit)? ;)
