I have never said I am right wing. Again, I specifically said I wasn't right wing, as that invokes the ultra-conservative Bernardi-esque element of Australian politics which I don't subscribe to in any shape or form. I'm right leaning, and certainly not a 'naive, weak lefty' as you labelled me.

Just thought I'd clarify it as there seemed to be confusion. Like you, I'm more right leaning than right wing, but I think I'm creeping ever more to the right so I may end up as a proper right winger one day

I'm happy for you. Again not sure why that makes my comment to Gero worthy of calling me a numpty. Even in this post you're acknowledging there's a distinction between right leaning and right wing. So maybe you'll acknowledge I never said I was right wing, nor did anyone else? And maybe back down from your ridiculous notion that anyone right leaning must support Trump cos extremist right wing ideologues are all identifiable to anyone who has any right-leaning philosophies?

Trump isnt extreme - just right wing. Anyone on the left would say extreme - so there you go. Never said you couldn't be on the right and not vote for him so don't know where you got that from. I would struggle to vote for him to be honest. But if the alternative is Clinton, then there's isn't much choice but that's US politics

I hadn't established how far to the right you were when I enquired why you wasn't supporting him. Now I know I understand and I haven't berated you over it. So how am I beating you up on your political leanings when you are on the right as I am! Those three politicians you quoted are right wing, but you've got to to be an idiot to think they are extreme. There are plenty of extreme right wing parties about, and their rhetoric is very different.
