The latest episode of Westworld was absolutely nuts.

That show is so ******* good.

Yeah enjoyed that one, felt it had been lagging a bit before some of the events in that ep. It's a pretty slow moving show. A lot of exposition not much action that progresses the story.

COD is still big but it peaked around 08-11 for me, I haven't payed one since BO 2.

They've gone the futuristic route, I don't like it, which is why I'll get it purely for COD 4 and Battlefield 1 which looks amazing, love the WW setting.

I need to check out my specs. Hopefully still strong enough to play BF.

Oh really? I feel it moves quite well considering the amount of content in it. I don't think it's any slower than GoT for instance.

Has a lot fewer characters than GoT and at a guess 40% of each episode so far has involved two characters sitting in a room talking.

I'm not saying it's a bad show, I'm saying that it's a slow burner. The rest of it is split between mindless violence that has no meaning to the show as it 'resets' each episode, and a small handful of characters actually pushing the plot forward - either Billy or the man in black. It's fine for what it is, and as I said the most recent episode was definitely the most enoyable.

40% seems massive overs, wouldn't have it at more than 20% of each episode personally.

Fair enough though. I've found this has me far more gripped than GoT. Plus it's got me asking so many questions each episode. There's a mental challenge to it.

First few episodes had a lot of chair talking. It's definitely less the last couple though.

I would have thought GoT had a lot more mystery and puzzles but fair enough.

I definitely found myself less surprised and pensive with GoT but I guess that's the beauty of good TV - what appeals/works for some, won't necessarily for others.

I'm trying to watch a bunch of classic movies I've never gotten around to watching. Watched Citizen Kane with the missus last week.

Well, how'd you find it? Can you the see the elements on what made it a classic, or did it seem a bit dated?

I've still got a bit to catch up on myself, sigh... still haven't gotten to the Indy series yet.

Yeah I quite liked it. The flashback elements and camera style was very progressive, and I found the story pretty interesting and easy to follow. The humour was better than I expected it to be, and the 'twist' at the end was good.

Cooldude I haven't had a chance to play the new MGS - is it worth it?

It's taken me forever to even get to the end of part 1! I felt like I'd completed it but then it said "Continued in Part 2".

It's nowhere near as good story wise in comparison to the rest but there are some really cool gaming aspects.

Anyone seen Deepwater Horizon here?

Went to watch it for work yesterday. Thought it was pretty good, accurate representation of what happened
