In fairness to me though I only ever deposited $100 into it about 18 months ago. So far this would be my 4th cash out, the other 3 all for $200 and then this one at $350.

Not a bad year and a bit on the punt now that I've worked it out

Urgh, that twist was way too telegraphed for me to enjoy it. I've known he was a host for a few eps, and then having a scene with his son at the start where *gasp* he looks the same, and then all his comments about understanding the hosts better than humans, etc. Good twist in a pure sense, but way too telegraphed to actually come off as a twist.

I had heard the theory but hadn't decided either way on it before that. I'm kind of glad it did turn out to be that, it opens up so many possibilities now.

The board member opening the door in the nude was tops haha.

How good is Hopkins though?!

I think it means the theory that there are three timelines going on, and Bernard is Arnold are both true, but I guess we'll see. Hopefully something surprises me.

I get what they're saying but I don't agree with much of it.

Interesting to note that season 1 of Westworld has had a greater audience than season 1 of Game of Thrones when it aired. Neither here nor there really but it's interesting I think.

I hope the show survives for no other reason than I genuinely enjoy it ha.

Do you think there are 3 time lines? Seems far fetched to me but it's not out of the realms of possibility.

If that is true, do you think the MiB could be Logan? Would explain the scene with Dolores at the start.

If anything I think that plays into the article's point that the show is trying to hit the right notes to be a blockbuster show, and it is doing so, but in the process isn't really producing a very deep show. Was interesting to read after my comments the other week that it felt like nothing progressed because everyone died and reset. At least now things are progressing but I'm still waiting for a good shock to hit me to get me invested. In Thrones I didn't really care about it until Ned died, so there's still plenty of time for WW.

Bernard's conversations with Dolores in the first few eps had her clothed and in an area we haven't seen before. Now that we know he's a host, the fact he can't age means those scenes could be set after the original breakdown with the hosts, which may well be the timeline William is in - or it could even be before that. William could then be a second timeline, with the man in black being William in the present day as a third timeline.

I don't know if you've seen the original movie - I really recommend you check it out, it's got a nice blend of Jurassic Park and Terminator vibes before either of those movies came out. In that movie the hosts all have imperfected hands. The man in black apparently always wears gloves in the show, and I would love it if the two linked together somehow and the Man in Black ended up being an early host. The tech host in this ep was initially immune to Hosts because he was programmed to appear human to them, so the MiB could be doing likewise.

What do you think of the theory that they were making Theresa in that room they killed her? It made sense to me - make her a host and that way no one thinks anything has happened?

I've not seen the movie before but it's definitely on my list now!
