Tour Time! It really is a huge celebration of the country (Bastille Day also falls during the middle of the tour.) There are some actual nice regions (including Nice) in France. Just like there is more to England than just London, there is more to France than just Paris. If you ever visit France I suggest going in summer, it goes off. People a lot more friendly than Paris. Strasbourg also where the EU meets so it's a nice city.
Montpellier was my favourite city in France, some of the most amazing architecture (not just historical, some of the mid century brutalist stuff) that I've seen. Just a fun place to wander and explore especially around Christmas time when there was an incredible festival in the city square. Nice is great as well although a tad touristy/retirement village, Montpellier just felt a bit more authentic.Tour Time! +1 on Montpellier. Was there for two days only and loved it. Nothing in particular just loved walking around the streets and squares and nearly being run over by Benjamin Stambouli on a quad bike. Was in Spurs shorts that day too! He jumped off and had a good 20 minute chat. Was sold to PSG a few weeks later hahaMontpellier was my favourite city in France, some of the most amazing architecture (not just historical, some of the mid century brutalist stuff) that I've seen. No, they put barriers up after Darcy Freedman was thrown off by her father.
great interview with trump on 10 now, he's won me over.
Ah forgot about that, seemed to have remembered a story of a car with a boat on top getting blown off by the wind once
Of course he does, he wins over every internet troll
Fair, we'll be fine then
I experienced a 6.2 when I was in Tokyo once, came at night, the whole building was shaking and swaying, didn't get up though, just kept sleeping
I can only guess what you were doing at night in Tokyo......

To be honest I'm left in two minds. On one hand he comes across as crass and rather ludicrous, but on the other I think some of his policies are bang on the money. Deporting illegals with criminal records is a no-brainer. Anyone who disagrees on that is dangerously liberal for meim not a huge fan but i like many of his ideas listening to him right now.
I remember reading a book from Picketty a while back which touched on French inheritance. As long as the estate was set up properly then you shouldn't pay much tax. 25% seems extroadinarily excessive to me. Find a European law firm in Melbs and ask them. You will probably pay a couple of grand for the advice but it sounds like it would be well worth it.So it turns out that myself and my brother be inheriting an estate in France. The company that tracked it down charges a fee of 25% which is paid out of the after tax inheritance settlement. Does that sound reasonable to everyone? I have received a full blown contractual agreement which I'm gong to mull over but the gist of it is no upfront payment is required and no payment is required at all if the inheritance is not successful or if liabilities owed meets or exceeds inheritance. I and my brother have 7 days to sign the agreement and we may need to travel overseas to settle it. Still in an absolute headsman about it!!

My fee for this advice is merely the Head of Corporate Finance role that you'll make available for me at Kronembourg when you take over.
Would still try and speak to a European lawyer in melbs.Unfortunately my Aunt had no will. Hence the need to employ Coutot - Roehrig, the company who located the inheritance and tracked me down.

25% is BS. Just be aware that the ATO will try and tax you if you bring the money back. Double tax treatment of inheritance is not actually law, more of a guide. Personal experience with a UK inheritance.
The exemption under double tax treatment isn't enforceable. I'm not even sure if we have a double tax treaty with France. That's a joke if the ATO taxes me. I thought there wasn't inheritance tax in Australia? And surely paying inheritance tax in another country would exempt you from it?
You might be able to find out other law firms fees without being charged.25% is the fee charged by Coutot - Roehrig . It is 25% of the after inheritance tax settlement amount. Not sure what the actual tax bill will be yet....

The French are socialist crooks so that sounds about right.Yeah I have rang a few already in France. Most seem to charge 25-30% fees for paying out on an estate with no will.

Both me and my parents copped it with a UK inheritance a few years ago. The ATO are campaigners.
