Agreed on the pokemon, some look great but most are just meh.

X and Y were just very short i found, but a lot of pokemon to catch so it made making parties a lot more fun

Oh yeah some look great, Bewear's ****ing amazing

In regards to difficultly... I'll admit that when I can have one Pokemon hit Level 100 on the way to the final Gym in X and Y... then maybe the game is too easy (even though the last gym leader's pokemon are the highest ever seen at level 60, which used to be Elite 4 territory.)

The new EXP share is a curious item. On one hand, it makes training Pokemon a lot easier and saves time. On the other hand, you could just abuse it and have a strong team without even trying.

Personally, I just like to solo the game, while capturing as many new Pokemon as possible. That said, it does make me wonder how anyone can find interest in a Nuzlocke?

If I recall correctly, don't you know Cantonese? I think I heard that's meant to be harder as well.

I know Canto and am alright at Mando, yeah Canto's much harder but Mando's hard as too, Chinese is just a complicated language in general. Hardly anyone's gonna speak Canto in the future though so it doesn't really matter

Tannonflame also looked very good.

Sun and Moons fire starter was good in theory but it was just another Fire/Fighting pokemon in a differnt skin

Yeah they make a bird pokemon look like an actual bird and it looks great, who would've thought

Rather than trying to make a dragon outta a pinetree

Well, I hope at the very least it is preserved in Hong Kong. Important to the roots and a nice point of separation. Also, I really like the Latis, they were a nice addition.

It's about time we had a Toucan Pokemon.

But wait, the Fire Starter is Fire/Dark, as it's meant to be inspired off a Wrestling Heel.

It still followed the same fire/fighting thing they have had for a while.

Charizard was good
Thyphosion was good
Blaziken was good and unique
Infernape was good and based of a good myth
Emboar was just meh as we were all tired of fire/fighting
Delphfox was different
Incineroar was just another rehash.

I dunno man, Communist are changing the curriculum in schools to make it more mando centric so Canto is ****ed, even though it's actually the most accurate chinese

Do they have a fire psychic hybrid? Raichu's now psychic which I think is a decent move, was pretty redundant before that

Well, strong groups in Hong Kong. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Oh, speaking of which, have you ever seen this character before?

There's Delphox, the fire starter of X and Y. The fox mage (like how the three starters of X and Y were based off the three traditional RPG classes.)

I did like that.

But then you had to pick Charmander, Squirtle and Bubasaur afterwards and that is always hard for any person

I always, always pick Charmander, purely because it's much easier to find a great water type

Other way around. Harder to beat the earlier gyms with incompatible types. Always went squirtle or bulbasaur as the first two gyms are rock and water. Stop by the forest and grab a pikachu and you were then set for a few gyms.

Usually never relied on a fire move set. Could get by until I got Moltres later in the game.

I have seen that character before but I don't know what it means nor anyone who uses it nowadays, it's more of an ancient character

*Gasp* you said no to Charmander? You monster! You said no to this face?

I have had many arguments with friends about this exact same thing. Bulbasaur always.

Yes I know it sucks going through the first gym with Charmander but the challenge is where it's at

Bulbasaur is the best grass pokemon ever but I've just never been huge on grass types. Having said all that I understand people who'd pick Squirtle over Charmander

After a few trips to get your Charmander healed from poisons from Weedles and Caterpie's while trying to boost it up you eventually learn to do it the right way. The non Charmander way. Bulbasaur also ends up with boss moves as Venasaur and can take the OP Solar Beam TM too. Well worth it. Blastoise can be given surf. Easy choices.
