I think he's just confused by you bringing up some random story on a rave.. it was a bit non-sensical.
Don't be silly SM, my posts are annoying, allegedly.

Yet your highness is posting such wonderful things like this:

What, what?

Are we playing the “what” game? What?

How am I to know what is random and what is something worth bringing up? I don’t.

Showing an appreciation isn’t always objectifying

In the context of that thread it absolutely is because it's admiring women in an objective sense ("This one is good looking, this one is more good looking" etc.) it's dehumanising and is part of the problem. But not going to drag that all up again beyond making the point it happens in all facets of life as you pointed out.

A thing called common sense? Like, I don't know where to start with your question. You brought up a rave and linked it to the egging of Anning as if there's some systemic issue with teenagers.

Not sure what your problem is. I asked you a question. Why would I bother extrapolating further when I could be efficient and do it in one word? Seems utterly redundant to expand when it is definitely not needed.

But given you seem to have issues with my content, feel free to hit the ignore button, champ.

Because saying “What?” can be taken as rude and could be the same as saying “What the **** are you talking about”. If you wanted an explanation there are more polite ways of going about it. Sorry I jumped down your throat but that word can come across as being rude. Thank you for explaining that it wasn’t your intention.

And yes, there is an ignore button but I have never used one in my 16-17 years of posting on forums and I won’t for you when I didn’t on much more suitable candidates (Faith, Typeclub).

Hey, if my sarcasm is hard to pick up on as I posted below, then surely “What?” being an actual legitimate question can be misinterpreted as you being rude. That’s why I responded that way because I thought you were being rude.

I was being sarcastic about the two since they both included teenager/s. You know my stance on the Anning incident and how I was in support of the teenager, so you should have picked up on my sarcasm.

It didn't read as sarcasm at all but at least that makes more sense.

I think what this shows is that it's too hard to interpret tone over the internet.

Yeah, in no way was I being serious about claiming that teenagers are out of control. Tone and text can get misinterpreted fairly easily as we have seen on here.

I’ll try to make more sense in the future. :p

Showing an appreciation isn’t always objectifying
Some people are so caught up with being politically correct, they experience shame for feeling lust or for “checking somebody out”. This type of thought process and guilt is far from normal and is typical of people with deeper insecurity issues. You’re right in saying it is possible to appreciate the physical beauty of another person without objectifying them, simply because attraction stimulates the desire to want to connect with another man/woman. It is a completely natural phenomenon that exists as a foundation for relationships.

Disregard the socially inept feministic beta males that try to convince you that you’re a bad person for glancing at a nice looking girl in a bar :)

“Beta males” that’s definitely the term I’m left with after reading the last couple of pages. **** me dead.

I was more discounting the assumed upcoming angle seven would be going for which is slandering sporting codes for the actions of few. It was actually a very week story in the end.

So what you're saying is you think the flaw with the story is "well everyone does it"?

Fair enough.

No I thought seven would have gone harder with the culture problems than they did

Your original point was you reckoned that ordinary people say and think worse about women than most footballers. I thought you were suggesting that as a criticism of ordinary people. All good.

Jd was the one to bring up the issue with objectifying women.. Bizarre.
The funny thing with you is even though you come over as just about the most sanctimonious person I’ve ever encountered, you still manage to get massively indignant at someone who retaliates with a punch after being assaulted from behind. You start shitfights every day and literally have no idea on how to discuss topics with people you don’t agree with. Well in the real world there’s consequences for people as obviously antagonistic as you and I’d have thought you’d at least have realised that by now.

I don't go around crying and calling people names when they're discussing a topic with someone else, but I guess we can't all be as mature as you and Gosha.

Nah my point was more to do with my incorrect prediction that Seven were going to attack the codes too harshly (NRL in particular) for something that exists not just in football clubs

No but you start crying and labelling people in derogatory terms when you are in direct conversation with them instead, like you did when you called me a racist twat yesterday.

You're right, I apologise, twat was uncalled for.
