What about China and their sports events?

China and their current regime and interment camps are far more guilty of crimes against humanity.

I don't think many of the Western World is truly aware of the stuff the Chinese Government have been guilty of for decades.

The double standards really piss me off.

Very aware of the Chinese mate.

If President Xi decides to buy a club there will be plenty of pushback.

Agreed. Perfectly ended.

I think this will be right up your alley:

Incredible mate! Thanks for that.

#8. Oakley’s reactions after Saul said that. It was like “Ah, ****! Here we go.” 😂

I wonder if there’s one more.
On the prison bus at the end when Saul is looking at the drop of sweat running down the head of the prisoner in the seat in front of him. I wonder if that’s a reference to Walt nicking his head shaving in BB and the close up of the back of his head with the blood running down the back of his head.

IPL isn't a worlwide attempt at sportswashing the Indian governments image. It's held in India. Plus India don't have a record of summoning dissident journalists to their local embassies and slicing them up into small pieces.

LIV golf is blatant sportswashing. It's working too, more people talk about LIV golf then about the horrifying stuff Saudi Arabia govt is guilty of.

If people are really outraged about sportswashing, or atrocities of particular countries (china and sections of the middle east), boycotting goods and services from said countries must be adhered to.

Oh good, whataboutism.

I really never understood the love for this movie.

Came out at the perfect age for me so I loved it. Haven't rewatched in ages so it's probably aged terribly.

Think I was the same age (or at least roughly so) - I loved that silly humour around then (Anchorman etc) but this one just didn't do it for me.

Yeah Superbad was a one and done for me too. Had its moments but something just didn't click with me.

I think there were a few cringe elements in it too that may have detracted. but tend to agree, watch it because and then put it on the shelf.

McLovin is the only really enjoyable/funny role in this movie for me.

The rest of it is just annoying/juvenile crap. And I really like movies like Pineapple Express, Superbad was just too crass for even my vulgar tastes

Love Superbad. Humour is subjective so understand why not everyone feels the same but hits a lot of sweet spots for me. That and dodgeball are my go to comedy rewatches.

Also watched The Terminal List on prime. Some silly moments but overall a 7.5/10 for me. An odd thing checking the reviews is that it's scoring well on IMDB but poor on rotten tomatoes 🤔

Old Skool is my go to comedy watch usually. All time classic.
