First explain to me what the British slang “would you *” even means. I see that just randomly dropped into conversations online. Am I being asked if I would have sex?
No.

There's no logic, just saying that you wouldn't.

Summer over and we had a very comfortable one this year. I reckon not even 15 total days in the 30’s, the highest it reached was 38, only about 3 days in a row in the 30’s. I don’t recall one night that I struggled to sleep. This summer was unlike other years.

Yeah didn’t even feel like summer tbh. Remember as a kid would spend most summers in just shorts running around the backyard, sprinkler and water guns, and at night nothing but a bed sheet with a fan going.

Been sweltering up here, have had the fan on most nights so bit jealous of the cooler weather down there!
Ours has been a humid one as well really. I don't think we've had much raw heat.

Had 2 30 degree days over the weekend that felt at least 35 with the humidity though.

Playing football on Sunday I definitely felt it. :tearsofjoy:

But yeah more the humidity I guess.

Comfortable. Humid. Sweltering. Hot.

You all suck. ;)
I'm waiting for Ireland's one week of summer in June. Hell it was 13 degrees the day I got married in June last year... supposed to be summer.

What plants do you grow mate?
Well there's the obvious stuff I'm not allowed to talk about now. But my young fruit tress haven't had a good time at all. They're really missing the hotter weather

Good.

Hate the heat. Less hot days the better. It was a very dry summer though and as much as I love watering the garden it is very time consuming when having to do it several days in a row.

It's worth spending the time to install an irrigation system. I only have to turn on two taps on to water my whole garden. There's options to have timers or even internet apps that control it. I've got it all running off my rainwater tank but town water doesn't cost much and the reservoirs are pretty high right now.

It sounds like a marketing gimmick. And the ultrasonic bursts would probably get your dogs barking when you're trying to have a sneaky pint in the shed.
The GUINNESS NITROSURGE Device uses ultrasonic technology to break down the nitrogen in Guinness and give you a beautifully smooth two-part pour every time.

That's the marketing spiel. TBH I don't care, they're more expensive at 2.50 euro a can versus 1.60ish a can for the widget cans... but taste infinitely better. I can't always get to the pub with the mates and a pint of guinness in Dublin these days is 6 euro or more.

I was sceptical then I watched this.
