Because you can't go and it's what you paid for it?

My point is, if you can't go, why sell it to someone who really wants to go but missed out on a ticket.

EG. Springsteen is touring the States right now, shows are sold out in 15 mins and people are buying mass tickets and then selling them for 3 grand.

Now, say if I wanted to go, how is that fair on someone like me, for instance, who would kill to go, but can't cos of some campaigner being a selfish prick?

Why? Scalpers are incredibly prevalent in today's society and buying tickets for massive shows is getting harder and harder to do with "people" getting 15 tickets and looking to sell them at a profit.
Re read the convo I always said if someone offered me money for a ticket I was going to use

You've twisted the discussion, my input on this has always been about selling tickets you want to go to.

Ive done it before. Recently sold a mates ticket for him to laneway. I bought it for him then he couldnt come as he was in the USA. Retail 150, sold it for 200. DGAF, and that 50 mark up price is cheap when its sold out.

Something I'd want to go to, I'd still sell for the same price if I couldn't go and wanted to.

Wha, we're saying if you can go and want to go, and someone offers to give you more than you paid to go instead, and you'd rather the money, then that's fine.

He'll get it in 2035 that we were all talking about a ticket that we did want to use I think

Holy **** what an episode.

The start blew me away:p and it just went mad from there.
Turned to my housemate as soon as daryl left the group that exact sequence of events would take place!

One of the best episodes of the show I think!

Started reading Pirlo's book Cruyff14 . Well worth the read so far. It's very different to most biographies I've read. He's very confident which can come across as arrogant at times for some but with him, I genuinely believe that he's just confident.

I'm reading Gerrard's book at the moment and to be honest it's not that great. Maybe it's because the last autobiography I read was Zlatan's but this one just feels very cliche'd and you don't get the feeling that it's coming from Gerrard himself or that he's sharing his true feelings. I'm not even halfway yet though so maybe it'll get better.

One autobiography I would recommend is Craig Bellamy's. I know he's not the most popular or high profile footballer ever, but his book is a very good read.

My favourite line so far (regarding taking the penalty in the 06 World Cup):

"I lifted my eyes to the heavens and asked for help because if God exists, there's no way he's French."

:D

Have heard that's surprisingly good. Might try that next.
