Clearly don't come on after Thursdays then.

Hmmm I was being sarcastic !

Macca19 knows that.

Secondly I dont have a problem what so ever if people discuss the show in here before I have seen it. Actually I prefer that they do so that by the time I see it I can voice my opinions on the episode while those who have seen it can respond! ;)

I thought it was good, and could have fit in with earlier seasons pretty well.

Im sure Jims supermarket idea will end up being the saviour of DM.

Yeah, very much enjoyed it. Leaves us for some suspense but I doubt Jim's idea will save DM, for this season at least. Personally thinking, I don't see a solution to this until next season, gives viewers a big question mark over DM. I actually think Michael might somehow save them with some stupid yet brilliant decision.

I'm so glad the Pam's Mum thing is done, this storyline actual has great potential. Couldn't help but laugh at Creed again, he does nothing, says nothing but he has his 20 seconds to shine and makes himself the funniest character.

Yeah, you just cant beat Creed. Very minimalistic but makes everything count. I knew exactly what he was gonna do but it still had me in stiches.

I think they can do a lot more with this storyline and they should have some things left over from the Scranton branch shutting down story arc through seasons 1-3.

Havent seen the episode yet! :p

Geez I wish they would give Creed a good air time there were a couple episodes, Macca19 may need to help me where he dominated and it was priceless Office moments: Farewell card and the watermark incident.

Just pure comedic genius............ :thumbsu::D

Well executed.

The whole JAM (yes Macca we know you dont like that expression) is not what this show was about to such a degree where it has literally hijacked the Office IMO.

I was fine with it for a while during the awkward and funny moments when they first became a couple but really when they started becoming smug and arrogant I was rooting for others around them!

When your barracking for Dwight Shrute it says something about JAM.

A bit akin to barracking for the Pies when it isnt your team. Sorry Macca19 that only happens when the Power plays them..... :p

Yeah, he was great in the watermark episode. Showed hes still very clever. My favourite lines would be 'Someone making soup?' in the carpet episode, and 'Angela is the office bitch....im Creed' to meredith.

See I reckon The Office has always been about the love story. Even with Tim/Dawn, it was always the main part of the story.

They have taken it over the top so hopefully they can pull it back in. I think theyve shown signs of it, but its what the US wants. They love their love stories.

See I dont have a problem per se with the love story but really they should be happily ever after now, I would love to see Andy and Dwight hook up (lol not to each other) and probably in the finale we will see a Michael Scott happy and content with life by getting married himself, IMO.

The British version is still a very well written excellent piece of comedy however the US version is now an easy stand alone show.

As many have said seasons 2 and 3 were very very good.

Im about to watch the current episode, Im tired and its early night for me!

Too much Creed will kill it IMO.

I'm happy with literally every Creed moment - all 15 sec per episode - being hilarious. I'd rather not let them give him two minutes a week and be hit and miss.

I'm not as pessimistic about season six as most, but one thing I won't take is suggestions to change the Creed dynamic. Even in otherwise mediocre episodes, Creed will show up for twenty seconds and make me laugh. Don't change that by overdoing it.

True but when I think of all the crooked dirty underhanded workers you come across at work there is so many potential story lines for this guy nothing big is needed just a minute here and there.

there has been times when he is in the background totally and i observe him and he is still up to no good, lol.

Enjoyed the latest ep but still found it pointless. I mean, apart from the Jim/Ryan thing the rest could have been wrapped up in 5 minutes - all was simply unnecessary; the least they could have done was involve some kind of contingency plan but alas we're left with nothing.

Starting to realize this season will finish with DM in the balance, surely they cannot end this storyline in just 2 more episodes. It's getting better no doubt but still far from previous greatness.

I was really disappointed by Oscar's lack of balls, absolute pissweak effort, and I've normally enjoyed the storylines in which Oscar has had a more central role (i.e. Business Trip). There were few redeeming character developments in this episode, which is what really let it down for me: Michael appeared mostly bumbling and foolish, Andy and Dwight were pretty much non-issues, and Oscar shrunk when facing the execs.

I also agree that it was disappointing that no contingency plan was floated, just seemed like the writers attempting to wring more episodes out of this story arc.

I did enjoy Jim's more positive and assertive managerial role this episode though - despite the fact that the 'office' part of this ep was pretty irrelevant - as prior to this he had really shown no evidence of why he 'deserved' the position.

I liked that episode. Michael was a pisser. Oscar....I agree it was weak. Was his chance to stand up but as he has done in the past, has let things slide.

I thought they could have really pushed Michael a bit further. I thought he was gonna go into one of his real pro critical talks (like hes done a couple times with Wallace) but it never eventuated.

As I said 3-4 months back, I still reckon this will end with Michael taking Davids job.

I completely agree, I thought Michael was really going to take it up to the board in one of his speeches where he shows that he actually has some business sense and a good idea of what's going on.

It will be interesting to see if you're right and Michael is promoted to the CFO position.

Good theory.

Really? I'm happy then, always hate the wait between season.

Well, there will be a 4-6 week break over christmas as usual, but when it returns it will still technically be the same season.

I loved the cold open in this episode! Recyclops was awesome. The flashback gags with changing receptionists were funny, even if it was one giant continuity error. I still thought it was cool.

Surely this won't happen, David is CFO - Michael has absolutely no financial / accounting experience and can't be qualified for the job. Oscar is more likely to replace David. I'd expect Michael to go to corporate leaving Jim as sole manager of DM Scranton.

After watching the ep again, a few things made me wonder:

Where was Charles Miner? Didn't think he was fired but why wasn't he at the shareholder's meeting?

Also why can't we see more Todd Packer? He's easily one of my favourite characters but it's been ages since we've seen him last.

You raise a good point with the financial side of things. I just see there being a big showdown which ends in David being sacked and Michael moving to corporate.

I too liked the recyclops, though didnt note the continuity error?

Agree totally here. For any TV show to stretch beyond the magical 4 seasons ( I think thats the magic number for paytv and reruns) is a credit to the show. Although Season 1 was poor and very short. I didnt like it way back when I first viewed it.

I wanted to see Jim hit it off with the new receptionist. Even wouldnt mind seeing Pam's ex getting a chance as well. I really want to see something from left field happening, not enough (if any) office hotties for all this to happen. I loved Michael ex Jan, hmmmm Cougar Time.:thumbsu:

This is how I think the show will end, fairly obvious I think.:thumbsu:

Michael and Holly.
Jim, Pam and baby.
Dwight and Angela
Andy and Erin.

Michael will run the company, Holly in HR in the corporate area.

Jim will run Scranton, Dwight will be assistant to the regional manager, lol.

Prophetic hmmmm time will tell...........

I thought it was ok. NBC must have been having a 'green week'. 30 Rock had funnier 'green gags' this week.

Thanksgiving day fell on Thursday in the US last week hence no Office.....

I miss my fix for the week.

Been watching Season 5 and must say the difference in personality of Pam by the writers is really chalk cheese in Season 6 she comes across as arrogant smug little bitch.
