In my old job, definitely Jim. Was good at what I did but didnt care about the job too much, had the whole Pam thing going with someone I sat next to for 3 years - pranks, sexual tension etc.

Now...probably a blend of Dwight and Stanley.

I wish and prayed I could have sexual tension, geez I have never ever had it in the workplace.

ffs I would love it. :p

As cocky as it sounds, to pick the best looking, coolest guy in the office, I probably most closely represent Jim in my workplace. I don't mind pulling a few pranks, do the bare minimum to get by. Also, I've unfortunately had the whole ending of Casino Night happen to me, in a very similar fashion, to the point where I'm transferring out of my current workplace to another branch (of Coles ;)).

if you have got it flaunt it.

Its survival in the workplace!!!!!

Does anyone else find the Nard Dog character annoying? He's the only character I dislike on the show, and I'm not sure whether it's the way the character is written or if it's the actor. I get the feeling it'd be funnier if someone like Simon Pegg or Dylan Moran was in that role.

In fact that whole work place reminded me of The Office. SOme very very similar people.

*The owner was very David Brent like as opposed to Michael Scott.
*There was me who would have equated to Jim
*My partner in crime who was very much like Pam
*The courier guy that came in every day was like a much cooler Packer
*The old coolroom manager was very very similar to Creed. Never said much but what he said had you in stiches
*The buying manager was incredibly like Andy. Tried hard to impress but came across as lame...thought he was more of a ladys man than he was
* The accounts payable was a total bitch like Angela
* One of the old warehouse guys was like Kevin - a total idiot
* The young coolroom manager very much like Ryan...and I swear the owner had a complete mancrush on him
* One of the prod line workers was a complete alcoholic like Meredith
* Plenty of ditzy Kellys around
* The warehouse guys all mucked around a bit like SeaMonster & Roy
* Had an older lady who had been there for years who was full of spite/disinterest like Stanley
* Plenty of old lady stickybeaks like Phyllis

We didnt have a Dwight and we didnt have an Oscar though.

The sexual tension was both good and bad. Good because it made the days fun and we played up on it heaps. Bad because we couldnt do anything about it.

Nope. Love Ed Helms in that role. Plays it to perfection. Personally I find Andy hilarious and his character really pushed season 3 into a new level.

Im busy tonight having some friends for dinner......:thumbsu::p

Dwight: I never smile if I can help it. Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life.

As far as favourite episodes go, I can't believe nobody has mentioned "The Injury".

Yeah I like that one. Would be in my top 5 in Season 2.

Actually almost all of season 2 kicked arse. The only episodes I didnt like were Dwights speech and booze cruise.

:D One of my favourite lines from the show. Dwight says something hilarious nearly every time he talks to the camera.

Probably the most incorrect post in the history of Bigfooty!

My fav Andy moment is when he loses it and punches the wall.:thumbsu:

Actually its when Jim peaked too he was into being funny and having a good time, the writers really screwed it by 1) getting him married so soon to Pam and 2) the Baby.

Also when he comes back from rehab for anger management, some funny lines there too! :thumbsu:

I am currently going back and watching all the way from season 2 again.

A few things that I loved about the show back then;

* The way Dwight idolises Michael
* Jim/Pam banter
* The fact that Jim is such a douche but still comes across as very likeable.
* The start of the Michael/Jan tension which was fun
* Ryan is an awesome character in season 2

Cant wait till season three and Andy comes into the fray, one of my top few TV comedy characters of all time.

Yeah, I enjoyed it. Didn't really focus on relationships too much (poor Erin though, wish I could help her out ;) ). Could this be the beginning of the end? Unlikely I would think, but I don't really know where they could be taking it. I guess it ties in with current affairs.

This weeks episode was defiantly better than last weeks but still it was quite poor. Creed's usual 5 seconds was the highlight again. For me The Office has gone in the same direction as Scrubs. A good first 5 seasons but after that it just went downhill. Just like Pam, Michael is a character that i am totally sick of and Jim just isn't funny anymore. Creed, Dwight and Andy are the only ones keeping the show going for me. I really hope they rap it up at the end of this season for the sake of the show.

I thought it was good, and could have fit in with earlier seasons pretty well.

Im sure Jims supermarket idea will end up being the saviour of DM.
