Well I thought since every Freo thread touches on Jeff Farmer. We should have a thread dedicated to him.

I personally love the guy. I love the way he takes a mark and pounces straight up to mark his spot. Then goes back and kicks a point. His cheekyness provides some entertainment.

I love him too! Not necesarily looking forward to some opposing posts though - same old same old.

If I was ever found to be infertile I'd ask the wife to have his kid!

One of the most dedicated, hard working players in the AFL. It's the little things that count - like rolling the opposition player over after a tackle to prove to the ump a holding the ball decision is warranted.

Jeffrey is always doing it for the team. There is no "I" in Jeff.

An amazing ability to play a great game and have all his hard work go unnoticed and unappreciated by anyone other than Freo supporters.

A strong character who is able to stay focused through adversity.

Last of the personalities.

I would also be happy for him to help funky start a family.

Very entertaining player. I love watching play. He is possibly my favourite non-north melbourne player to watch. However, when he plays North I quickly begin to hate him. He's a complete smart arse, that i'm sure many opposition players hate. Nonetheless, good for the game and probably Freo.

its wierd, by the sounds of it the same reason you hate him is the same reason you love him...

Why Streaky... I never realised you could be so gentlemanly.

I must be getting old. Just biding my time til the games begin. Only 20 more sleeps til the Gee-Whiz Derby.

I've always thought that voice from Blk 243 was yelling 'I love you Ralphie.' I just couldn't quite locate the seat it came from. Now I'll know not to bother. I've been jilted.

Its good to see that all the other teams hate Jeff. Thats why we love him. Lets hope this season he really wakes up.

I thought it would have only been Ralph Dagg - Fashionista that would have partaken in a spot of cyber-flirting, not the Good Doctor.

As felicitous as your posts are IP, I'm way too daggy to intentionally flirt --even over the Internet.

But, you know ... if you wanted to meet up in Kitchener Park at half-time during the Port game. :D

If you have ever sat in or near Block 243 and heard a woman's voice yelling, "We love you Jeffrey" sitting next to a couple of kids with their freo beanies pulled firmly over their heads so that no-one recognises them... well that would be me.
;)

I sit in block 240 close by.. not a bad spot in the ground is it?

I'm sure for IP a free consult would be in order. Especially as I'm not an actual medical doctor. But I can snap those rubber gloves.

I'm in Block 238. Its a great spot. I have a terrible seat though. I have to sit next to this two year old who insists on crawling beneath the seats, spilling his choc milk and smearing melted tim tams over my face -- usually at some crucial point in the game. I just my wife would stop bringing him along.

Back to Jeffery. How many goals does he need to kick to be an acceptable year? I reckon 35 minimum, 45 is a bonus.

You would think that a guy with his experience that anything under 45 would be disapointing. At a glance of the stats it shows that he kicked 36 last year, and that was with all the other stuff going on that may have interrupted his on field performance.

why does he need to kick 70??? that would make him 4th on the goal kicking list and also our biggest target up forward?
