Was a bit surprised to read on Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt blog that Djokovic was found to be a celiac - he avoids wheat/ breads now. Having eaten gluten free for years myself, think I'll find new appreciation for his game.

I dont like Djokovic, but I prefer him to Nadal, so I hope he becomes #1 just to beat Nadal. Though I would prefer Federer, but I dont think that is going to happen unless something miraculous occurs.
 
Novak will have a hell lotta points to defend next year and will already be defending quite a lot after wimbledon.Lets see how long he can keep this up..my money will be on Nadal to get it back in half a year or maybe a year..since he is so consistent.

Every number 1 has a lot of points to defend the next year. That's why they're ranked number 1.

Nadal should enjoy the coming weeks because it's the last time he'll ever see his name at the top of the rankings.

are you a moron? many were number 1..but how many had 7k points to defend in the first 4 months of the season? i cant recall anyone, do you??

Regarding Nadal being number 1: wanna have a little wager? pm me if you have the balls.Sure Nole is flying high but you are insane if you think he can keep operating in God Mode for an extended period of time.Federer was operating in god mode for a little above 1 year.Nadal is Mr consistent, he will get it back.


P.S Federer is irrelevant ..so i dont know why you post here.I really hope he draws del potro and muzza makes a solid run.He will be out of top 3 by the end of the year.I also hope he draws rafa at F.O
 
I haven't seen anyone write Djokovic off. He's obviously had just one loss this year, so why would they? :confused:

That said, Federer and Nadal would have to go in to Wimbledon as favourites, but come the North American hard court season, I'm sure Novak will be dominant again.

I dunno, I still think Djokovic has a great chance of winning Wimbledon. It's not like he played poorly in that Semi Final loss to Federer, Roger just played some vintage tennis and obviously winning that 1st Set was huge for him.

Murray on the other-hand, I don't think he can go all the way. I really think he's got to start attacking more.

Novak and Fed always draw eachother in slams, hopefully that changes for once.
 
I can't wait to see Murray's joke draw. I mean you wouldn't think it'd be possible for him to have two of the most ridiculously biased draws in a row, but it wouldn't surprise me.

He's probably got the grass court gun Davydenko in the 3rd, and all the Poms will claim that's a tough draw. :rolleyes:

For once can Novak stop being on Roger's half? Kind of annoying how it happens every single time.
 
Most slavs I know have a bit of w***er in them. At least Novak has a justifiable reason to be arrogant and doesn't try to hide it unlike nadal and fed.

Kudos for a fantastic year noel, relieved that someone has finally put to the sword rafa's ugly risk minimising top spin game.

I reckon he's great. All great sportsmen have a bit of arrogance about them.

His return against Federer to save match point and getting the crowd behind him typifys his year for me.

Federer is the bigger w***er.

Fed was only "classy" when he was winning and when he accepted the fact he was Nadal's bitch. You don't see Nadal, Djokovic or even Murray putting down opponents that beat them. Hell while Roddick may act like a brat on court, off court even Fed has less class than him.
