Not once this year have I played someone with mckinley in their side. This week i come up against someone with him on the ground and he decides to kick 7 and score 156. un-f**king-believable. He was the difference between me fighting on another week and bowing out. Unforunately it was the later.

Lost to a guy who has scored 5000 less points than me for the season. And to make things worse, he played with 20 men vs my 22. I was ranked 42nd before this week (to be >100 after this week) and he was ranked 45,000 odd.

Just great.

Only 5 centurians this week hurt. Lots of OK scores with a few useless ones (yes I'm looking at you JB and Stiffy) thrown in. Could only manage a paltry 1902.

Ditto J.Brown and O'Keefe. I expect way, way more from my premiums than this rubbish! Add fricken Stiffy to the list too!

Positive thing is I still won my league match and just scaped in a score of 2000! Can only get better with the return of Chappy and maybe Porps if I make the grand final!

Similar situation here. In my relatively weak league I was undefeated all year but managed to lose my first final to a team that averaged 200 less points than me.

I was 300 points up on my opponent before the Bombers Eagles game.
He had Cox, McKinley, Nicoski, Lovett-Murray & Jetta to come
I had Cox & Wilkes

Thought i was pretty safe; Cox's score was irrelevant, and i thought Wilkesy's score of 50-70 would get me over the line.

Then it happened......

McKinley finishes with 7 majors (153)
Nicoski somehow records his second highest score of the year (87)
Lovett-Murray decides to get a few touches in the last quarter (71)
And Jetta remembers he's a small forward and kicks a couple (46)

and i end up getting rolled by 40-odd, after bragging that no one would touch me in my league finals....

To make matters worse, my opponent had Brownie capt (vs bartel 4 me)

Other honourable mentions:
Stiffy 16 (just because mcleod wants him back, doesn't mean he's ready!)
Brown-Dog 22 (didn't see the game, but FFS!!)
Bradshaw 67 (again, didn't see the game, still v disappointed)
Bock 69 (only a good number in one case chicken man)

If i want to be really critical, bartel's 120 against melb was a tad under what i (and many) thought he would've received.

Looking to next week:
Surely Brown-dog and Stiffy won't score that low again

and i'll have two new players in my team to upgrade wonna and either lockyer/palmer or the propise
