3 and a half season probably isnt enough for Suarez. But does have a few awards to fall back on. Golden Boot, Player of the Year as well. He'd be borderline considering it's only 3 and a half seasons.

Salah though already has 4 and isnt going anywhere so I can see him easily going in eventually.

Jesus. No. Suarez is nowhere near it.

Eventually Salah will, like I said, in 4-5 seasons.

Lee Mason is retiring from full time reffing. Good.

Lee Mason going to be full time VAR referee. Bad.

Sack Riley.
Just read that Masons in last two games as a VAR official he recommended red cards that ended up getting overturned on appeal.

Staggering.

Two more right before they finish for the year? Shearer and Henry in and then they were adding 6 more from the ones nominated and so far we have had Keane, Cantona, Lampard and Bergkamp.

Not surprised Bergkamp got in as isnt it fan voted and dont Arsenal win every fan voted thing haha

Main UK Broadcast slots this season:

Liverpool - 26
Man City - 25
Leeds - 24

Worth an additional £14m in revenue for Leeds being on the main broadcast that many times compared to what was scheduled at the start of the season.

They will also receive an additional £15m in prize money for the top half finish as opposed to a bottom half finish.

Given the size of the UK supporter base, if Leeds have a sustained decade in the PL, I think their commercial revenues will eventually match both Arsenal/Tottenham.

I'd say their 20/21 revenues will slot somewhere in-between Everton and West Ham for their first season back.

No different to when they were in the Championship. Pretty pathetic bias from Sky and BT.

They are a commercial entities.

No real surprise they broadcast the biggest club in the fourth biggest Metro area in the UK a lot for their first season back in almost 2 decades.

I think it's pretty unfair that some sides aren't televised at all, or at an absolute minimum, but a side just up from the Championship can get such a leg up. It's one of the issues with the UK not televising every game.

Imagine if Collingwood, Carlton and Hawthorn were televised for 70% of the season and St Kilda/Geelong/Bulldogs missed out because they were 'smaller' markets. With no salary cap that would distort the table quite significantly.

Well it essentially happens now.

FTA commercial revenues far exceed getting shoehorned into Sunday twilight games round after round, that's why the AFL has equalization payments to compensate clubs so they can maximise their TV deals.

PL clubs receive some of the largest TV right payments in the world, Sky and BT should be able to do whatever the hell they want to recoup the huge investment they outlay to fund the league.

Fair doesn't/shouldn't really come into it at all. Clubs receive enough in their base equal payments.

That's kind of what happens with Friday night games. Sick of seeing Collingwood, Richmond and Carlton every week when Freo hasn't had one in four years.

I do feel the EPL is more equitable in sharing around it's timeslots.

Time slots maybe from our perspective, but they don't televise every game over there (or they don't deem every game to be a 'televised game' this season), so some clubs get a substantial amount of additional revenue.

I'm surprised he got in before Henry tbh.
