Most Western country pizzas wouldn’t be found in Italy.
I swear Italian pizza masters turn in their graves at NY/Chicago deep dish pizza ‘pie’.

I dont know enough about curry's to comment. Indian food is not my jam.
Fair. They are 'Indian' curries created in the UK. The poms eat them like they are going out of fashion when the bhunas, dansaks, etc are much better.

Ah no shit... I honestly thought they were just Indian curries. Fair play.

Im not good with spicy food so Indian food is a no go for me. When I go to Nando's I get the lemon and herb you know what im saying haha
 
If you are adding broccoli and pineapple to a pizza then it is not a pizza imo. Call it an Aussie flatbread.
I dont get the angst, you can put a salty fish on a pizza or salty fruit(olive) but not something sweet?

Not really true, you can get some great italian made/style pizzas in oz. We've got an awesome one not far from home in Avenal. Golden rule no more than 3 ingredients can go in top.

Agree that the yank pizzas are horrible

Or maybe I can call it a pizza and enjoy it and you don't have to eat it if you don't like it.

this is key. I got a sideways look from a waiter in Rome when I ordered a capricciosa. Everyone else in the restaurant was eating margheritas haha
