Refs saying that minor contact in the box won't be penalties anymore. Bruno's tally just got cut in half.
thats up there with afl umps cracking down on gut punches

The 2002 results wouldn't have been released until 2003, and wouldn't have been assess for FFP until 2005. I don't think they ever intended for the club to go bankrupt, so I doubt the threat of penalties would have been a bigger deterrent than the threat of the club folding.

But if you look at their finances, they were doing things like selling the ground and leasing back, buying players on tick etc. Good for the balance sheet right now,

Leeds biggesr issue was their short term debt on transfers at very unfavourable interest terms. That certainly would have been curtailed if a FFP system was in place where losses had to be kept to a reasonable level.

Good to see Micah Richards calling out that racist campaigner Souness after the match today.

"For me, yesterday the star of the show was Greenwood. For a young boy, I thought he was sensational," he said on Sky Sports .

When fellow pundit Micah Richards laughed and pointed out that Pogba had made four assists, Souness replied: "We expect that from a £100 million man.”

The twat being a twat to the surprise of no one. Should we expect 4 assists from Paul Pogba against Southampton because he will still be a £100 million man next weekend.

And how is it 'moral supremacy' pointing out that City are a genuine front for sportswashing, a fact covered extensively by numerous respected sources (including here: Amnesty criticises Manchester City over ‘sportswashing’ | Human rights | The Guardian, here: What are Manchester City? Premier League champions, the greatest team ever and a ‘sportswashing instrument’ of a foreign state | The Independent | The Independent , here; Champions League: what you need to know about Man City, 'sportswashing' and future of Financial Fair Play (theconversation.com) ) and the subject of academic enquiry?

That's such a bizarre characterisation.
Here you go. Discuss away.

Great. Can you please answer my question why it's 'moral superiority' then?
I dunno, you were saying everyone who supports city should be embarrassed to do so. Maybe I got you wrong.

But this has been done to death on here so many times.
