I'm guessing the coach is some kind of creep?

I reckon the vagueness of the tweet was intentional.

”According to sources close to the situation, the players are unhappy with the management of injuries, the atmosphere in the locker room, Vilda's team selection and his training sessions.”.

It doesn't need any explanation, it's just crazy that it's still going on.

Do you have a DOF?

Andy O'Boyle.

He’s the first one we’ve had and came into the role in May this year. Pretty pathetic tbh.

If they are still getting fat dividend cheques what incentive is there for them to sell?

Are boycotts of games and merch the only way to push the leaches away?
The dividends aren't that bad compared to the consultancy fees and especially the interest payments. They have sweated the asset (their words) as much as they can. If they sold the club for £4bn say, they could put that money into US T-Bonds and get a far greater risk free return. Let say they make £4bn from the sale and they invest the money in 30 year bonds, they'd receive 3% coupons on the money = $120m and they'd be buying them significantly below par which increases their return if they hold onto the bonds until maturity. They take out about £80m in consultancy fees and dividends every year.

Additionally, so much cash has been taken out of the club that they will struggle to break even over the next 12 months unless United win some trophies and get top 4. That's just to break even. All the credit facilities are pretty much at capacity. It is fair to say that the clubs ability to finance them going forward is limited and unless United win the league, the value of the asset is not going to increase.

Fan protests got the sale process in motion but the fans don't really need to do anything more as the Glazers have ruined the clubs ability to generate profits in the short term and rising interest rates (rising quickly in the US and UK and will continue to rise) makes servicing the loans extremely difficult long term.

The Glazers hired a firm to sound out potential bidders a few months ago. The Glazers lawyers have been meeting with interested parties over the last 2-3 weeks and sit down meetings between interested parties and the Glazer family are scheduled over the next few weeks. I'd be surprised if this wasn't wrapped up by the end of the season tbh.

On a side note, I think increased regulation will come into sport in the UK which will prevent owners taking out dividends and stricter financial controls will be put in place. This week Wasps and Worcester went into administration due to poor ownership and business decisions. That's two premiership rugby teams out of 13 in the top flight. Wasps being ****ed are the equivalent of Liverpool or United going into administration in football.

Murtough and Fletcher do it with Andy Boyle kind of overseeing it. Doesn't really matter who is there though when Joel Glazer signs off all transfers and hires his own external consultants (at the clubs expense) to advise him.

Oh that's a bit shit. With the way they did that tweet, everyone gonna think he's a creep. If it's just because the players dont back the way he works then that should be made clear.
