Would a fan from working class Norf fit in among the RM Williams and charcuterie board Demons members out at Grammar..Don't bring Geelong Grammar into this thread FFS. My nan is still upset that I didn't go to school there.
Money and/or opportunity like happens 1000s of times a season everywhere. Why would anyone from winning clubs want to go to a mid table team?
I'm the grounded one (hard to believe I know) in the family. Everyone else went there since the schools inception except for my sister and I. I gave my family the heads up that RMW was being sold and to buy up stock (boots not shares) before they moved production to China. Not sure if they did but that was the plan.Would a fan from working class Norf fit in among the RM Williams and charcuterie board Demons members out at Grammar..

Sounds like you're welcome to him. Not well liked internally by all reports.Money and/or opportunity like happens 1000s of times a season everywhere.

Who needs trophies when you've got that to tell your grandkids about.United will always be massive but the “everyone is still talking about us”, “never ignored” flex is a bit sad.
You would too if you'd ever seen your club win one of significance. We live in hope though ehh.Funny you're disparaging trophies given you love to crowbar Leicester's two trophies into conversations.
Talking about you relating to stadiums, not football success. The reasons you'd actually want them talking about you.And yet everyone is talking about United in this thread and across English football. Never ignored mate.
We know we are shit. It is a bit sad but certain people will always have United on their mind. Just the way it is over here.United will always be massive but the “everyone is still talking about us”, “never ignored” flex is a bit sad.
I'd much rather there be some success for people to talk about. Yet most concentrate most of their discussion around us. Never ignored mate.Talking about you relating to stadiums, not football success. The reasons you'd actually want them talking about you.
United used to be the envy of football clubs across the country. Not so much anymore.
Mate I follow two teams. Seen one be formidable for 20 years and won 4 flags (equal 2nd most in my lifetime). You would too if you'd ever seen your club win one of significance. We live in hope though ehh.
So because Cats won 4 flags you don’t care what Spurs wins? That’s odd bit of supportMate I follow two teams. Seen one be formidable for 20 years and won 4 flags (equal 2nd most in my lifetime).
What the other wins or doesn't win is inconsequential.
P.S. nothing wrong with bringing up what you won, just odd to then dismiss United who've won a few trophies since SAF. Including last season.
Not what I said. Just doesn't affect my mood.So because Cats won 4 flags you don’t care what Spurs wins? That’s odd bit of support
You may type that but seems to me by typing that ..you don't really believe it... if that make sense. Yes sport is definitely about enjoyment but part of the enjoyment is the highs and lows...if all highs would it be as enjoyable? You hate the lows at the time but can't let it effect your mood into other aspects of life. Not what I said. Just doesn't affect my mood.
Following sport is about enjoyment. Chances are one of the two will be doing okay and give that enjoyment.
That the other doesn't win anything tangible is largely down to uneven nature of the sport so que sera sera.

Pretty sure that Wizard cup was backed up with a spoon in the same year haha. Remember ribbing my bluebagger relatives about it lol.I wish I had the presence of mind to tell you any time you’d give me s**t about Carlton that in my life I have watched one AFL flag, one Ansett Australia Cup, one NAB Cup, one Wizard cup and about 25 Manchester United trophies.![]()
In the moment sure, the highs and lows make sport the spectacle it can be. 5 minutes after a game and I have moved on. Off to bed and tomorrow is a new day.You may type that but seems to me by typing that ..you don't really believe it... if that make sense. Some feat in 2007. Finishing below lastIt was. We couldn't repeat the feat for the NAB Cup in 2007 when we backed it up by only finishing 17th.![]()
