Soo... for the 2nd year running, it seems that we're the worst team in the Premier League, again. Derby and Boro might actually be ranked ahead of us.

Actually, according to our FIFA guy, we might actually be a 3.5 team, but the three promoted teams are all 4 stars, along with Brom, Villa, and Sunderland... Newcastle are 4.5?! Wow,, we are the worst by half a star, a league of our own.

I don't do FUT or anything online, but I bet there are some people happy that we're a beastly 3.5 star team, although it is telling those that just look at the stats that we're crap. (Vardy is the 4th worst striker in the Prem? He doesn't even have 90 pace? Richie is rated better than Mahrez?) Overalls don't matter... but it certainly looks ugly... sigh.

But seriously - Wowzers! Is that confirmed? I think 4 stars would be about right for us, 4.5 is very generous. Just had a quick look at our player ratings and looks like Colo and Tiote have the same ratings they had when we finished 5th a few years back - both have gone backwards fairly badly since then. Also, Perez only 73. Come on EA! :drunk:

Considering the time of the edit, which is the 6th of May (It looks to be a Yankee date system)... I'll need to compare to Ings and Cameron... and both of them are faster. In fact, Cameron is still rated better in PES (in fact, going by the comment, Vardy should be quicker and Cameron slower). I mean, all the other English internationals are at least 73 at worst. To have a Championship striker (one that has copped a lot of criticism to boot) higher ranked then Leicester's Number 9 and English International is insulting. David Nugent got 20, and yet he wasn't a gold. In fact, a team that got 102 points in the Championship didn't have one gold (aside from Cambiasso) while Burnley, QPR, and the three promoted teams this year do.

It just seems in the gaming world, we are the butt monkeys of the PL, lol.

Or maybe it's the fact that you're Newcastle, one of the 'big boys' of England. Any player that goes up there either is goldly for all ages, or becomes gold to play in a team as awesome as the Toon, lol. There would be some very angry Geordies otherwise, and I'm not talking about a certain bearded one that is 'true.' (Then again, maybe it's to make up for the fact Shearer is only 89?)

Yeah, it seems like you're 4.5, and a full one star better than us. So if you don't do us by at least 3-0, then you've had a crap game, lol. But yeah, I do find it funny that the one performing player of Newcastle is one of the worst rated. Well, perhaps he is fair rated (I'd say that we're fair rated as opposed to the other teams), it's just the others are living in the past (and boy, wouldn't they love to?)

If you have dramas with it mate and play career mode, just edit your players stats and then start career mode with 'current customized' squads.

Not ideal, but better.

Apparently he's got a speaking role in an upcoming King Arthur movie so maybe he's about to jump into acting as a profession? Not sure how he'd go as a Bond though, pretty iconic role with big shoes to fill. Then again, I heard Idris Elba wanted to play Bond so maybe the next Bond will be a very different Bond from ones we've previously seen.

Maybe they could also get Cantona and Vinnie Jones to audition if they want to go the ex footballer route. :p

When you put it like that FT, clearly EA are just doing the horses' of the north east a favour and avoiding having angry Geordies slogging them in the streets. We should be applauding them for such noble acts.

Besides, we are the top dogs of the north east afterall! The biggest club in that corner of the country. Eat it ye Mackems!!! :p

While I'm not sure we'll get a 3-0 win when we play the foxes, you can be sure the clash of Umbrella man v Tinkerman will be one for the ages! Without the handicap of having 'the best coach in the league' at the helm, I'm not sure how we'll go... ;)

I'm aware of that. In fact, one of the first things I do in every FIFA is to set up the place to a Leicester fanzone and take a good look at the stats and maybe thinker those first before I play. Since I don't play FUT, the stats don't affect me. It's just the view that others get when they see us, which is the worst Premier League team by a fair bit now. Heck, it looks like Hull, Derby and QPR are similar to us, and better yet, it's saying that 13th placed Sheffield Wednesday has a better winger than Mahrez, Albrighton, and Dyer.

Ah well, more reason for those to underrate us I suppose. I'm complaining about things I don't use anyway, even if I'm unsatisfied with the view and know full well the overall isn't everything. I'll stop now.

That would probably explain why not many people are happy with FIFA. If we had angry Geordies, then maybe FIFA would be better, lol.

The Mackems would like to remind you that the score line is still 6-4. Has been since 1936 (Darn, your last title is 1927! I thought it was more recent than that?) Then again, at least you can claim to have had success this decade with your Championship title, lol.

Oh, is that right, eh? Unfortunately for you, Wally McClaren doesn't do well against Leicester. His record against us with both Forest and Derby leaves a lot to be desired. I think we'll score 4, most likely 4-1, that's usually how many his teams concede against us, lol. By the end of this season, we'll be split on 32 wins each (you lead 32-30).

That's first away goal in 14 years, where they tied against Latvia. Their last goal was against Poland 2 years ago with Alessandro (not Alex) Della Valle's effort. They still lost 5-1.

These minnows are getting stronger at the very least, always encouraging to see!
