absolutely no idea. they havent even mentioned it, only bolton have said we've signed him cos they've loaned him till the end of the year.

i genuinely don't get it. mooy is probably the only a league player who would get close to a prem spot with any team really.

i think they are signing him on behalf of Melb CIty next season. Its a parent looking out for their kid.

Oh yay, my discussion topic earlier on.

I did bring up this possibility, but I do also feel that it defeats the purpose of Catalan independence. They fought so hard for independence from Spain... only to join the French League. Also the Monaco precedent is a really poor point all things considered (not to mention they're not even FIFA) considering we're comparing Monaco to a country the size of Serbia. Also, do note that La Liga can't take any real stances on this, because if they openly claimed they would accept Barca no matter what, it would be seen as a 'Pro Independence' stance. If I'm not mistaken, the French PM is a noted Barca fan, just because he said it doesn't mean it will happen if the circumstance stands.

It would be interesting to see what a changed TV deal would have on both Leagues, but my thoughts suggest that the South American Edge that La Liga has naturally will still be a notable factor. Then again, the implications of Catalan independence could spell the end of Spain.
