So with news that Roberto Martinez has been sacked, I'd just like to post a video of his first season - in case it hasn't been seen by some.



It was our 'Leicester' season in a lot of ways, of course in true Everton fashion, it was also Liverpool's bloody title run year and every club was in top form (Except Moyes' United!).

We broke our PL point record on 72 points! To show how significant that is, Man United hold the record of winning the league with 75 points (The lowest in PL history).

When we beat Arsenal 3-0 at Goodison Park, well.. it's hard to describe. We had that Top 4 spot in our hands and let it slip.

What a season, chants of Allez Allez Oh was sung by home and away support every game, he was our new hero and looked to be the one who would bring the School of Science back.

How quick things can change and whilst he has been completely tortured by our fans in recent months, I really hope they appreciate what a season it was.

Yeah they were just seats from the Main Stand which is being expanded and refitted in time for the start of next season. Like most of the 'souvenirs' taken from the soon to be demolished Upton Park, they were probably all going to be thrown in the bin anyway.

NFGKizza moomba how did you guys sign Diaz, Camacho and Paolo Fernandes? weren't they like 13/14 and from OS? or were the rules different then. I thought the family had to move at the same time and work and the clubs couldn't just offer them jobs.

United are being linked with a few 14/15 year olds in Holland but I don't know if there's any truth to it as they are u16's. can you shed any light on this?

brahim's family i know moved and im fairly certain his dad has a job at the club. no idea about camacho or fernandes.

a lot of the problems that madrid and barca encountered were for players signed outside of the eu.

Brahim also didnt play an official game for us until a good while after he came. From memory Kelechi wasnt officially registered with us until his 18th birthday either because of the rules.

With Beerman (mmmmm beer man) I think was a bit similar to Brahim. Might have trained with us straight away but wasnt official until he was old enough.

Be surprised if there was anything in it. There was one I think might have been a bit dodgy but we offloaded him very quickly to Fulham. Playing for Brentford now iirc.

Not sure about others (Camacho/Fernandes etc). Pretty sure Fernandes played in an U15 tournament in Dubai a couple of years back. Whether that counts as an official game or not I'm not sure.

think chelsea were investigated (and cleared) for something similar a year ago, 15 year old playing in a friendly for them. Basically getting 14/15 year olds in and training but not registered and playing in an official capacity. Take advantage of any loopholes I guess.

last I heard, it wasn't possible to delay it beyond this summer due to the farce with Barca. But who knows with Uefa.....have they even appointed a replacement for that scumbag Platini yet?

I have been shocked at how nice it has been tbh. Was drinking beers in 28 degree heat last sunday in a beautiful beer garden. Was in the city last night and i reckon it was 20-25 degrees. By 10pm i was freezing my **** off tho
