I needed a break after 11/12, was absolutely knackered. 12/13 I was definitely burned out and more than a bit pissed off by it all.

Last three years have been so so, but I wish next season started this week.

I was feeling burnt out two weeks ago, and now I'm bouncing off the walls keen for the next game.

Winning feels good.

it's not so much the winning or lack thereof, it just feels to me that there has just been so much football orientated stuff for me personally. i had this happen with wrestling when i was younger. got into it so much, just watched it heaps and heaps. now just stopped completely. doesn't appeal to me anymore. it's not the same with football by anymeans, but im looking forward to just not going through around 5 games a weekend. because if it was on, i just had to watch it.

You know the Euros are coming up yes? ;)

Yanks incoming in 'Ull. Investment bankers from the sounds of things. Deal to buy the club is pretty much set, terms just dependent on the league we find ourselves in.

Must say I'm not finding the notion very appealling.

American owners suck.

do these new owners own any other teams?

The teams owned by Glazer and Kroenke have been pretty uncompetitive which give you a good indication of what they are going to be like.

Don't know their identities yet, all pretty shrouded in mystery. Just heard it on a Hull forum today, then the local journo is also reporting it now, he's usually decent and doesn't BS.

Chelsea fined £375,000 and Spurs £225,000 for failing to control their players at the battle of the Bridge.

I wonder why Chelsea copped the larger fine?

Because we have priors I'm guessing. Our own fault for getting sucked in to the shit.

or Arsenal or Liverpool.

There are obviously good and bad American owners as there are good and bad owners of any nationality, but you'll hear very few complaints about our current Yank overlords from me.

In 5 years:
- Saved the club from administration and cleared our debts
- Doubled our commercial revenue (and overall revenue), closing the gap on Chelsea & Arsenal
- Consistently released significant funds for the manager to spend from day 1 (not sure of the exact figures but from memory only City & United have spent more)
- Redeveloped the stadium
- Klopp

I definitely get the burnt out thing.

Don't get me wrong, I've loved everything this season. I've watched what I thought was impossible which has been amazing. But I am going to enjoy the next couple of months free of late night football and letting this season completely sink in.

I don't know what it is, maybe all the extra media we have access to these days. I'm just exhausted with football haha. The Optus debacle has just reiterated how ok I am with the off season taking it's sweet time.

I think if FSG conceded they know nothing about the game and find some real experience to run things football side instead they'd be better. The debacles the past few years have been them either trying to be experts when they are not or rely on the likes of Rodgers who aren't up to it or any more experienced. Appointing Klopp helps coz they can just let him run the show, but time will tell how it goes

Finance wise and everything non-football related FSG has done mostly quite well

a lot of it is the leicester run. it's not a bad thing obviously, but there was just so much more attention on it than any other run previously. it was the same with us in 11/12, but ours was less of the proverbial fairytale, but still a big deal due to how long it was. hell, the ending to the qpr game didn't exactly help either. there is just so much football that is so easy to access these days, you can't help but end up being caught in it. personally, i probably watched over 100 games of football, most of them at night. countless more highlights shows, analysis, reading about it, etc etc. it takes its own sort of 'toll'

Signings like Balotelli & Bogdan are pure FSG debacles trying to save a few quid with a "bargain". If we had a decent football department I dont see us making those signings.

Definitely agree. I'm mentally exhausted after this season haha.

I think we'll be a big news piece again next season, whatever happens.

They sound like the business version of Harry redknapp. The two would probably work well together to be fair

Soft campaigners. I've followed/watched over 50 games this season of Hull alone!! ;) 36 episodes of The Hooligan Report recorded as well for this season (Will have our 100th episode early next season).

Throw in that minnow PL as well, and I've watched my fair share and I'm frothing for tomorrow morning. :D
