Celtic is an easy option for Rodgers. Another couple of years, he'll be able to come back to England with a couple of trophies on his CV and hope that people have forgotten how much of an insufferable twat he is.

quite the fall from grace.

hahahaha really? isn't he still under contract to Monaco @265k / week??

perhaps the rumours about his age being false were really true!!!!!

maybe they came to a settlement agreement.

Scholes, Ronaldinho and a few others are also playing. Probably their attempt at a football version of IPL in India.

Surely the biggest fall from grace in recent football history. Bigger than Adriano's demise.

I look forward to the rife betting corruption.

His options in the english top flight are few and far between. Perhaps if he held out he might have been looked at by Southampton. Dont think it would be a bad idea bringing up a big Champ side like a Fulham and establishing them again before maybe again moving to the top 6.

National side is probably suited to him. But not England. Being sacked by you guys makes his most recent role a failure so he cant be getting a role for a historic big nation. He could of course go the mid range (yeah yeah i know england perform like a mid range nation) and build them up to do a Wales but that's years toil before it shows anything. He looks like the sort of guy who wants to be noticed sooner than that.
Southampton would have been perfect for Brodge. He's tried to buy everyone from there anyways so this would just make things easier for him.

You say that as if Liverpool stopped doing it when he left.

Boy, the real winners from opening Wembley completely are the fans. 3 game CL tickets from 70-150 pounds depending on category and you get the same seat each time. Glad that they didn't try and extort the fans.

Said it before but until football supporters as a collective take a stand against greedy clubs, they'll keep ripping us off more and more.

Will never happen because tribalism is too ingrained in a lot of people.

Great pricing structure. Only worry is neutrals coming to watch a quality match. But having a dedicated area for home fans tells me they've engaged with the few main supporters groups and have plans in place (hopefully)

Glad we are going down the basic economics of supply & demand path with our pricing. Hopefully same thing is in place at the new stadium and pricing is good enough for your everyday fan to go to every 2nd week
