Jonathan Brown would have been a nice get when he was younger and came out of contract after the Brions premierships. I honestly thought he might do it. He'd won 3 premierships, could come back to Victoria, play on the MCG most weeks, maybe win a few more premierships. Him and Cloke in the same team would have been ridiculously good.

That was definitely against the spirit of fair play but would any of us would have complained if Judd signed on with us because Eddie got him a permanent panel spot on the footy show?

Our Brown chase was 2005, wasn't it? That would have cost us Thomas and/or Pendlebury, probably both of them.
2008 we chased him to but again, he may have cost us Sidebottom and/or Beams. Brown was a machine but we did alright without him.

Fevola would have been a great get in 2009. Imagine our 2010 side but with Fev in for Dawes

He was just playing Collingwood as a bargaining chip to get maximum pay at the Lions.
