So I'm going to be at the SCG test for the first time after the New Years. Since I've never been there before, I was wondering where the best place to sit was?

I guess this also can be a thread for where you like to view the cricket from at any ground.

The best position (at any ground) is elevated (as mentioned the second level is about right) sitting between keeper and first slip.

Usually the sight screen gets in the way for the striaght drives - but it's a small price to pay for the exceptional view.

Any wider that about 4th slip, fine gully - you may as well watch in on the TV

Depends if your going for say a day, or the whole Test. When i went a couple of years ago i sat in the Churchill Stand next too the Channel 9 Cameras. Brilliant view, You will have to fork out quite a bit of Cash though..

And if I don't get that view I might just kill you for it.

no point watching the game side on at all.

Tell that to the SACA members - who are seated at square leg.

I can not believe they haven't kicked up a stink about it.
