Once you've worn a player issue It's hard to go back. They're tight, but they stretch. Mine fit just as easily over a t shirt as they do a hoodie. The replica jumpers have almost zero give in them.

It's the players tech hoodie. It's for the players. And the hood is what makes it good.

I'm normally a large and have a couple ISC guernseys at that size at the moment but they are pretty snug but how i like i for footy training, but i was thinking about getting a Prison bar guernsey to wear to matches over T shirts and jumpers so thinking XL might be the go.

I thought the official guernsey for sale was the exact same as the players wore. Obviously there's something I've missed here. How do I get the official players jumper.

Nothing like them. Completely different fit and material.
The material would be unacceptable in a mass sold one as it wont hold up for long, that's why you see so many getting ripped (comparative to regular ones).

It's the official jumper not the player issue jumper.

Player issues occasionally come up but are rarely produced just for sale.

It will be the same design but will be a different material and fit. ISC sends the club a batch of spares at the end of each season given each player obviously has a certain number of guernsey's made for him incase they tear. These go on sale in the shop.
There was a big batch that came in a month or so ago, and only come in the size each individual player actually wears. They're custom made for each player. Ie, Westhoff is a large long, Gray is a medium. The numbers are sublimated into the material.
The guernsey's of the more popular players usually go pretty quickly but I'm pretty sure there's still a few of them in the store now, both in home and away.

I still think the club or ISC should offer player issue guernsey's made to order for those of us who aren't weedy ferks/professional athletes/anorexic. Even if it's at a premium. Every other sport in the world does it. The material and sublimated numbers shit all over the replicas, and having the GPS pocket adds to the authenticity that I love. I don't care if it costs me $200+ and I have to wait 3 months for it to be made, just do it.

As others have said, mammoth. Different material, different cut, sublimated numbers, GPS pocket, the works.

The club periodically sells them and there's always a few floating around eBay - both ISC prototypes and second-hand ones.

I bought the missus a Boak, I've got a Wingard (it's as big as a garter) and had to onsell my Shaw because I looked like a Davoren Park harlot expecting baby number four.
