There is a 2016 vest but it's not as good as the 2015 version.

I went into the store wanting a basketball jersey, but I didn't love the quality.

The Renault logo on Vest is sexy, the Renault logo is sexy in general

The teal stripe across the left shoulder is a bit pointless and lends the garment to becoming dated prematurely. Just put the stripe the whole way across.

I thought exactly the same thing. Asymmetrical designs really only work when you commit to the asymmetry. For example the 97 away jumper looks great with its large, side orientated graphics, but a maggies jumper with one teal pylon would look terrible. Something that is just a little bit asymmetrical looks funny to the eye.

It amazes me how often these things are done right the first time but sebsequent attempts to "improve" on the original design fall way short. The 2011 hoodie is another case in point. In the case of the vest the basic design should have been retained, and if they really, REALLY wanted to change it up a little then tinker with the peripheral aspects, not the central design.

Yeah tinkering is a damn plague these days, be it fashion, cars, music, whatever. The classics almost always get compromised in pursuit of having something "new" to flog.

We need to stop painting hats on the Mona Lisas FFS.
