As a club, are we that self-conscious that we need a Number Panel to be 'truly Port Adelaide'?

We can honour our heritage, without being subjugated by nostalgia. Lets leave the identity issues to the Camrys.

Fair enough, I can see how that came off as a contradiction....

I should of clarified that I would prefer us just to wear the BiB. However, I would rather the PB be worn for showdowns, than a BiB with a number panel.

And then change the away Guernsey to teal to really ram it home.

The ~2007 iteration of the SBS jumper was killer with the thick collar and cuffs of the Nike template + the fat stripe on the shorts. Really fit with the blocky aesthetic of the design, front and back.

Black panel or white panel who gives a ****, as soon as you see the number style you know its your guy.

Pretty much any clear font that is distinctly different to every other club would be ok with me.

I have a strong dislike of the jumper we won the '04 flag in. Never liked it. Was so happy to see it gone.

How great is the teal/white/black back of the old jumpers though. It's a shame the front design was pretty trash because the back is so distinct, well proportioned and so 21st century Port Adelaide.
