Hope the coaching staff realise there's an easy way to fix this. One good solid smack, switch the little fairy's lights out good and proper early.. one free kick, one goal, no more damage. That will stop this ****'s poor sportsmanship.

It happened in case you can't remember... What did Chaddy do after that? Not much.

Cornes is as soft as butter. Lloyd got him again at the end of the second with a big tackle. We put our heads over the footy and were rewarded, a few port blokes took the soft option.

One thing he didnt do is take a dive in front of goal to get a soft free. Chaddy cops whacks like a man, unlike your poonce FF.

Good to see you made it home in one piece Fullarton...you have to be careful in melbourne these days with those Myopic, xenophobic, drug dealing ****ter gangs roaming the city.

Speaking of soft frees, your thoughts on Tredreas down feild goal from a soft bump? I assume you were just as irate, yes?

Name one player that's ironed Lloyd out? Hahaha...

High contact, over the shoulder, around the neck, whatever its called, the free is there pure and simple.

With the frigging protection he gets, why would you risk getting booked for even glaring at the fairy? And they reckon whales are a protected species............

so what do you make of tredders protection and favourable free kick tally for the year then?

yep he certainly earned 'that' downfield free (charity goal) last night.

Warren doesn't wrestle like Lloyd does.

Your kind comments are duly noted. Actually I was pleasantly surprised last night at the lack of anti social behaviour - i dips me lid.
Any chance you might be able to get the Collingwood people to be so hospitable in a few weeks - or is that asking TOO much??

As long as you don't make eye contact with any of them you should be fine.....put your wallet in your shirt pocket and pack a weapon or two just to be safe.

Gotcha, thanks for the tip. Just to be really safe I might leave the scarf with the teal at home as well and bring the SANFL one........

You're saying he will be his club's third highest Brownlow vote getter for the season? Outpolled only by two Brownlow winners?

How many North Melbourne games did you see in 1979?

9 votes, nothing special.

Graham Johncock got 9 votes last season.

Carrying a bar of soap always works.

Ebert's defensive side (or lack of) has already been pointed out;
Same theory that cost Collingwood Heath Scotland. Ebert should be a better footballer than Scotland give a few years at it but why so much focus goes onto an attacking weapons lack of defensive capabilities or manning up beats the hell out of me. If you want defensive midfielders go and recruit them. They are easy to find. Blokes that win games with possession and precision are the ones you can't get cheap. Use their strengths not their weaknesses.

On the game, I would have though it was a very disappointing show for Port fans. It would also have done some damage to the playing group with further doubts about finals type play. The Collingwood v port match at the G will be interesting. Collingwood will have a clearly inferior 22 but will play it pretty tight. If Port can’t get over Collingwood they will be shot IMO.

Not a chance in hell. Will be as hostile as ever. As it should be.

Excellent. Bring it on.

I'll be doing my bit to stir up the natives by drinking all the beer before you guys notice. Might pay to organise a couple extra trucks of kegs for the evening if you fancy a lager that night.

Is that the d/f free that he easliy marked anyway... yep that free made a huge difference

With all the cheap shots aside, that was a very damaging game for Port. The Bombers showed once again that if you play good one on one footy against them Port really do struggle to move the ball efficiently into their forward line.

Choco has once again not been able to come up with an effective plan to counter these tactics.

On the positive side for Port fans, it might have been just the kick up the backside the coaching staff and players needed to remind them they have some very obvious weaknesses to their game. Better they be shown up in Rnd 18 than in the qualifying final.
