Crows contract headaches

There comes a time in a football year when 85% of your list will come out of contract at the same time, and 2016 is the year for the Adelaide Crows. At the end of the season, big names of the club like Taylor Walker, Rory Sloane and Patrick Dangerfield will come out of contract.

Adelaide coach and list managers will need to get together and figure out this mess as I am sure clubs will be circling around and contacting these Crow stars in the coming weeks to try and entice a player movement at the end of the year. With the Crows possibly looking at another finals appearance and the nature of all the young talent they have, could hold them in good stead to keep most of their stars away from free agency

Here is the list of Adelaide players coming out of contract at the end of 2016

Sam Jacobs
Patrick Dangerfield
Nathan Jones
Rory Sloane
Taylor Walker
Brodie Smith
Daniel Talia
Andy Otten
Jamie Elliott
Sam Kerridge
Tom Lynch
Matthew Wright
Luke Brown
Matt Crouch
Mitch Grigg
Brad Crouch
Jake Lever
Kyle Cheney
Charlie Cameron
Harry Dear
James Podsiadly

Crows stars set to miss Hawks clash

Adelaide Crows duo, Daniel Talia and Josh Jenkins will miss the up-coming Round 6 match against the Hawks at the MCG.

Daniel Talia will miss after injuring his quad during last week’s match against the Lions while Josh Jenkins will miss the Hawks contest after being suspended by the MRP for kneeing Brisbane captain Tom Rockcliff in the third quarter.

Both players were in the Crows best last weekend, so those 2 will be a huge loss for the Crows this weekend against the top side who are sitting pretty on top of the ladder at 4-0.
The Crows will need to turn to their SANFL side to cover the spots, with Kyle Hartigan most likely ready to replace Talia in defense while up forward the Crows have a handful of players looking to take the opportunity with Podsiadly, Harry Dear and Zane Ayerst all playing good state league footy.

Well unfortunately it looks like this game has finally crashed on me and not too sure exactly how to fix it this time around. Very sad to finish this story up, but will look at starting another one soon!

Ah yes, the worst part about this game. Finally made a Finals series with North, then the game crashed and I had to restore it to the end of the prior season.

It obviously wouldn't be ideal, but you could go back to the end of the first season (it's after the draft, trade week etc.), and replay it from there, but I know oftentimes you really just don't feel like repeating the process after it crashes.

Especially after you nail trade week and the draft and have to go back and attempt to do it all again.

When you restore a back-up, isn't it generally after trade week? I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure last time I did it, it was after trade week and the national draft, and before the pre-season and rookie drafts. Don't quote me on that though.
