I guess I should have gone on to make the point that as a moderator you're held to a higher standard, because people see a moderator doing something on the forum - trolling, abusing people under the cover of humour, etc - and think that's what the forum is like. Personally I think your posting style is pretty unedifying and detracts from the tone, especially for new people. I like spending time here with fellow Saints supporters generally, so I'll keep pulling you up when I see you do something that I think isn't helpful. If that leads to me being called the "posting police" then so be it, I don't want to have to do this but I also want this place to be friendly and welcoming to new people, and I'm happy to take some personal abuse if I can help move it in the right direction.

I should note that none of this is about your activities as a moderator. I'm sure you do a great job in that realm, and none of us can see it. It's purely about the way you post as an individual who happens to be a moderator.

I said give credit to Paul once lol and then elaborated on what I meant. There's varying degrees. I laugh at when he calls out Canelo but the improvement is evident and he's beaten better guys than most pros did in their 4th fight. I assume you want him to fight a pro so you can give him kudos or take him seriously - Jake has now twice beaten an opponent on or above the level of a lot of pro's so why does "fighting a pro" matter given the guy he just KO'd? His wins against Askren and Robinson were garbage and even the split decision against Woodley but it's time to give him credit as a guy taking it seriously and performing against guys that most wouldn't fight at this stage in their careers.

I still don't understand the logic behind giving him respect if he fought guys worse than Woodley. He doesn't harm the sport at all lol, this year was the best year for boxing in ages. Many divisions are stacked and they're all fighting each other. A Jake Paul show here and there doesn't stop that or hurt it, if anything it gives fighters more incentive to promote themselves and line up bigger fights.

It depends on where Jake takes it now, his improvement is really impressive from where he was 3 years ago and now twice beaten a guy of better quality than most young pros. He was going to fight Fury anyway until he pulled out so I don't see how you could knock him, he was scheduled to fight a "pro boxer", who evidently is worse than Woodley is. I don't actually know who you expect him to fight 3 fights in given what I've discussed before about Woodleys skill level.
