Eric Abetz is a bumbling idiot.

His name should be Aiden for rollcall alias purposes.

I quite like our logo and 'Power' moniker these days. It's grown on me.

I was watching ESPN earlier and they had an 'NBA Trade Machine' thing on a huge touchscreen that had a homescreen featuring all team logos.

Our refined post-2000 logo would not have looked out of place for aesthetics and strength, tbh.

Yep.

I've been hearing for a decade that our logo is very 90s and we need a new one and it's awful etc etc etc.

I've seen a lot of replacement suggestions both here and on the footy graphic design board, and while some have been decent, nothing has gotten close to what we have. It's quite a strong logo IMO.

I don't mind our current logo, it still represents who we are and where we have come from. However, I wouldn't be averse to an update. I'm sure this has been covered many times before though and seeing as we're near the start of the season I doubt it'll happen this season, there's plenty of higher priorities for the club at the moment.

In 10-20 years time the logo will look classic. It's grown on me much in the same way it has Finny. I also agree that predominantly black, white trim and teal accents is the most aesthetically pleasing colour combination in the league. We have the best looking merch in the league by far and one of the best guernsey's because of it. The last 3 or 4 years of our merch design has been, in my opinion, the only merch in the league that you could happily wear during the week and not look like a 40 year old who still lives with his Mum and needs a Stackhat to walk around the block.

Yep, the merch has been kick ass.

I've noticed there's no current adult magpie guernseys available for sale at the moment though. Waiting for updated sponsor logos maybe?

I know you guys like cricket a lot, so here's a post about cricket. Only five times (five and a half times, depending on how you look at it) has a player scored both a triple and double century in the same test series.

Well, anyway...back to random I get really a get these days brother thoughts, what is the phenomenon called when a roll of toilet paper on the toilet roll holder decides to empty it's contents onto the toilet floor?
One for Roger's Profanisaurus I believe. I suspect it is dependent on whether there is no spare roll, how close to completion one has come with arse-wiping, and the various scenarios that could play out if so.

Needs more Michael Clarke.

I'm going to Soundwave next week brothers....I am left to ponder where do I get really a get on this day?

I bought the tickets primarily to see STP (even without Weiland), however since those snakey bast*rds shafted me, just like Oasis back in 'Nam (errrr that's 1995 for you youngsters), I need to re-direct my attentions to others from the "glory days" including and temporarily limited to:
  • Alice In Chains
  • Placebo
  • Korn
  • Living Colour and perhaps
  • Green Day
I ask ya's, as fellow port men and women - WHAT OTHER BANDS DESERVE A LISTEN?

Sevendust and Megadeth pulling out has ruined my life.

Down, Alter Bridge, Clutch, Rob Zombie, Testament, Filter, Ill Nino, Five Finger Death Punch, Mushroomhead, Amon Amarth.

Judging by your tastes, Definitely give Alter Bridge, Clutch, Ill Nino, Filter and Maybe Rob Zombie a bo peep.

I'll be the bloke with the Randy Rhoads T-Shirt and Port Adelaide hat...

Do you know what I love? No? Well, I'll tell you. I really love inspirational football montages. There, I said it.
