Why did human beings ever domesticate cats, and then keep doing it for thousands of years? They're a really annoying animal that offers very little companionship.
Rubbish. Anyone who thinks this doesn't know how to cat. Cat's are beautiful and smart and communicative little creatures if you take the time to get to know them. My cat is a strong-willed, funny, loving, talkative, playful, dangerous and unique little individual. She's great.

I have a "pet theory" that the biggest difference between cats and dogs is that most humans find it easier to understand dogs. That's not the cats fault.

The independent streak cats have is a wonderful thing compared to having a pathetic yapping mental patient at the backdoor needing constant attention day and night.

My cat is based as ****. Sleeps on the bed with me, brings me rats to the door and meows at the top of his lungs saying "Check this shit out campaigner" and then gets super offended when I chuck it in the bin. He also enjoys stealing pizza shapes straight out of the box and fights other cats and comes home with battle scars.

He's my ******* viking bro, he will go to Valhalla. I'm sure of it.

They're jerks though. Total jerks. Always find the one area of floor in the house with a rug on it go throw up on, walk on my head while I'm asleep, use the couch as a scratching post and screech incessantly at the other neighbourhood cats through the window.

Don't understand them lol
I do, they're assholes.

This. My dog is the big muscle bound chicken shit, my cat caught letting his tyres down is "what the **** are YOU going to do about it". When the cat is in ear shot I have to be careful not to tell him off unless I mean it. If I tell the cat "get him" he shits himself.:D

Having said that if I ever have need I'll be really happy to have the big muscle bound chicken shit right next to me.

I have a theory too. Anyone who owns a cat is a campaigner.

Anybody stereotyping dogs as attention seeking creatures have no idea. Yeah, they love it when they see you after not seeing you for a while, but then they go and do their own thing, just like cats. My 2 dogs have been very independent animals.
