I love the idea that the players will be working their arses off on (the morning of) a 38 degree day while the supporters are eating sausages and fried onions.

Was planning on taking the girls down to training this morning, until I got up. **** that, too hot.

The pommy press smash their cricketers better than our cricketers do.

They eat their own quicker than Richmond supporters do.

Boys were still going strong at 11:30 when I called it beer o'clock and retired to the Club.

A few observations:

- Players are hard to recognise on a glarey day when most of them are wearing caps.

- Wingard, Butcher, Carlile, Flynn and a handful of others only seemed to be doing running trials, no competitive work.

- Jay Schulz was running around like a hyperactive teenager, hurling his body all over Alberton.

- Polec looks... small. Colquhoun small. WTF are Brisbane doing?

- even Carlton Dry tastes decent after standing out in that for a couple of hours.

Oh and I wasn't expressing surprise about the 'Hoon btw. Just about the fact that the 21 year old Polec looked as skinny as Sam, who I'm pretty sure is actually 14.

Sorry for if this is vague, but does anyone know where that video of Port Adelaide's comeback from when we lost in 07 to now (2013ish) is and if it even exists? I'm pretty sure I'm not making it up, its essentially a montage from that point until now etc.
