**** Dave Grohl and his shitty ******* band.

LOL Zakk Wylde 2001 -

In the November 2001 issue of Guitar World, Wylde said, "If I ever run into Dave Grohl, I'm gonna kick his ****in' ass, because I think he sucks, and he wrote this cheese-dick song for OZZY that I have to ****in' play on, and I'll never forgive him for that. FOO FIGHTERS is a ****in' candy-ass girl band, but you've got that mother****er submitting songs [to OZZY], too. I mean, none of these guys could play a Randy Rhoads solo if they tried. Dave Grohl? **** Dave Grohl! Let him get up there and play 'Mr. Crowley' — he can't ****in' do it! And it's like, you're getting this guy to write songs for OZZY? Just because he played drums for ****ing SHITVANA?"

Sweet 75 and Eyes Adrift were good post Nirvana bands.

Neither had that ****ing scientologist campaigner in them.

Speaking of sold out gigs, this was my finbarresque sly snap of Nard at Ney Ver after the Eagles had left the stage for their lipitor'n'wheat germ.

Yeah, disagree. On the rockametrics formula of world wide rock immortality, they are in front of Ween, but behind the Foo Fighters...... Well... Um... goodnight.

yeah nah.

On average people have one testicle.

As an owner of two legs, then I would (with many thanks to amputees) have more than the average amount of legs.

Rock God you ask? Three of them right here. "Handsome" Dick Manitoba on vocals, Ross "The Boss" Friedman (pre-Manowar) on guitar, and the most badass of them all, Mark Mendoza (pre-Twisted Sister) on bass.

Boognish will smite thee.

You're forgetting that they've been broken up for a decade bar a few years of reunion stuff.

They'd sell 10,000 tickets in Adelaide without too much trouble. They aren't the Foo Fighters in terms of popularity but they are a pretty massive band.

Also the Foo Fighters are a great example of why the 3 albums then no more new material rule should be enforced for every band everywhere

The Offspring 4 Grand final. They are still my guilty pleasure.

Incredibly guilty.

Foo Fighters are at least still running on the goodwill generated by Everlong and Monkey Wrench. I'm not sure if the Offspring have anything that gets close.

There is plenty of good rock music being released. Royal Blood are amazing. Dave Grohl given his body of work is probably as qualified as anyone in 2015.

It's the sporting dilemma. Do you want a zombie on your team? On the one hand they're (most zombie types) shit slow. On the other by the end of the game you may have 44 on your side. Definitely worth a rookie pick at least. We've a free Cat B rookie spot, make it happen Port.

Shane from The Walking Dead. His ruthless* mongrel is needed for the coming September Apocalypse. F@%k Rick Grimes.

Do the kids these days get into 90's music like my generation got into late 60's early 70's music? Is that their retro?

Fantastic question...

All I can say is I was front and centre at Judas Priest a fortnight ago.... Crowd dynamic was made up of 20 year olds through to 60 year olds.

I dare say the same could be said for a RATM gig.... I know my 60yo Dad would go LOL

Yes they do.

Everyone everywhere loves the music they listened to as teenagers.

In 50 years some old fella somewhere will be driving his grandkids to a fishing trip and they'll be listening to Thrift Shop and Kings of Leon on his mix tape.
