Because it's generally clear cut good and bad guys, not real world shades of grey. I'm not a Lefty, but I'm pro gun control, yet love a good action flick with a high gun related body count. Characters that are shades of grey in a violent film / TV show are interesting (such as Game of Thrones), but you can't disengage the brain for mindless enjoyable violence with those.

Seems like the kind of movie the only sequel to would be straight to cable and indeed the rubbish bin.

They aren't entertaining when you realise how ridiculous they are, it is the equivalent of Australia being featured in a film and everyone riding kangaroos. If you know nothing about Australia then the film may be entertaining...but it's really shit.

The Clough film was made by a mate of mine from Merthyr, Jonny Owen. A top lad and one of those who would explain to you very nicely why Green St. and Football factory are such ******ed films.
