Ironically nearly slammed into one at 100 KMph last month, huge thing too. They are dangerous

I saw a dead adult female deer on the side of the road near Wistow yesterday and then saw a buck rampaging through the undergrowth by the road near Lofty last night. Apparently a bit of a cull has been going on for a while.

Not so much the hills but i have seen them in Kuitpo forest.
