PS2 is the GOAT because it was what I played from the ripe innocent but technically able age of around 6 - 12, the graphics weren't utterly shit, the games were fun..

Good music is always there but what I would say is look back at the artists major labels signed in the days of yore compared to now, it's chalk and cheese in terms of talent & originality.

Thank thy lord for the internet, the ability to listen to artists from all over the world who will never crack the "big time" or get airplay on our Hey Dood radio stations is a god send.

I might agree with someone complaining about the lack of quality heavy music in the late nineties/early noughties but as of right now, there's more great hard rock/metal bands making music than there has been in a long, long time.

That game justified the XBox's existence for mine - played through the SP campaign at least five times

Now that is an underrated classic, that still has the best squad command system of any FPS game I've played.
