Nicolle Flint also writes columns for the Advertiser and she's a massive conservative nutjob - anti-environment and all.

Just applied for a scholarship in Australia. I still got a chance in England it seems, though unlikely. Please world don't leave me stuck in Brazil. I'm so ******* tired of it.
In England these days you'll be abused as a sponger anyway.

I don't even know who the Labor or Liberal candidates are for Melbourne.

Ironically the only paper mail I've received (and swiftly disposed) was from the Greens. It was probably Bandt's victory speech.

On Sky news last night 12 people (randomly selected undecided voters....) at the mighty Rooty Hill RSL last night could not identify Richard Di Natale.

Oakeshott and Windsor are copping it both barrels in NSW.

I think they are both suffering from relevance deprivation syndrome.

Pair of campaigners.

She looks like she has a pole up her arse.

I can't do more of that conservative, uptight crap - I'm a survivor of 50 years (it feels like it) of Andrew Southcott. She is his female version. Save me

Hey guys, just after some political advice! I've got about $10k of shares invested and I want to vote for the party that will maximize the return on my investment. Any tips?

Vote 1 Eddie Dingle.

10k goes a long way at Stilettos. Help me help you young voter.

Christian Democratic Party (Fred Nile Group) is an obvious choice.

Well they had their time in the sun but it's over. Barnaby will have Windsor for dessert after he's finished eating Depp's dogs.

Bandt will shit it in down here.

It was reported on ABC radio the other day that Oakeshott is struggling financially on his $70K per year (indexed to inflation) lifetime parliamentary pension which is why he needs to get back into parliament. The thought of getting a real job has obviously never occurred to him.

Those communiques from Lib HQ were pretty funny. One time, Ms. Flint opined about my particular field. She has the intellectual capacity of a burnt crouton...

At the biggest scale it won't make any difference, the country is run by the public service and big institutions, and the economy is beholden to international events outside of the control of our politicians. Where it does matter is who do you want to be serviced by government? Someone with $10k to invest or someone without.

You mustn't live in a marginal electorate. I have been averaging almost one a day plus a number of personally addressed letters from Malcom (sic).

That's the funny thing - I used to be in the safest Lib seat in WA, Julie Bishop's Curtin, but without moving anywhere my place is now in Perth, one of only 3 Labor held seats in WA, which has now become notionally marginal.

One of the calls was from Alannah MacTiernan, who is not re-contesting the seat and the other was Julie Bishop (I wonder if it was while she was driving), who seemingly doesn't realise I'm no longer one of her subjects. Neither call went beyond them saying their names before I hung up.

I'm in Higgins, which has been hugely entertaining seeing how much money the Libs are throwing at us
Kelly ODwyer is as likable as she is sincere

A combative, slogan parroting autotron. If there is a god she will lose Higgins. Please, voters there, make it happen.
My seat of Boothby has Flint the front runner. She is as bad as ODwyer

:thumbsu: Bumped into her at local shopping centre. She's a self satisfied piece of work. Gifted relevance thru' her father?
Head of monarchist movement. I asked her about the NBN in our area and her response "your name is?"

I don't answer the landline or mobile to numbers I don't recognise plus many of the calls to the landline are received when I am at work so just delete them off my voice mail as soon as they say who they are. Still annoying.

Mark Latham seems to get by on a similar amount - so much so that he can afford to keep getting sacked by the various media outlets that allow him to vent his spleen.

The handshake with Howard was good though pity he didn't go with the rugby tackle again.

Just on another economic topic, London's FTSE index is back above where it was before the Brexit vote.

What's this?

The make believe money machine bounced back with in a week?

Who'd of thunk it?

I don't understand how the Labor party thought they could ever win an election with Latham as their leader and therefore the prospective PM. But then I didn't think the Liberals would win with the mad monk as their leader either.

Perhaps they realised they couldn't win in those days and Latham was just a place marker.
