Judd - required player that bailed for cash at the height of his powers and nominated a club, preventing a bidding war.

Lynch - no certainty to be picked every week, had given the club 10 years, left to boost his retirement with an extra year on the K.

Either you are being very nice to Judd, or you are being too harsh on Lynch.

Both just opposition players to me. Judd may have left for $$, however we would not have won a premiership without him, he had more of an impact in 6 years than Lynch did in 10.

Of course they are still opposition players but it doesn't mean you cant have a soft spot for opposition players. I mean I have huge man love for Tex Walker, Jon Brown, Pendlebury would be up there as an all time favourite as well!

Really respect Lynch for his 08-09 years as he really upped his game when he could have slacked off like a few of his other 06 Premiership teammates.

I agree he tried his guts out during the tough times, just wondering who slacked off though? Wasn't it mainly injuries? I don't really recall players taking it easy.

Players like Fletcher, Stenglien & Braun who were not injured ...maybe it was they did not have the heart to play anymore? Was just disappointing as i had hoped they would step up with the Loss of Judd and Cousins.

I've never seen a player as good as Fletcher was, fade so fast though. Still not sure wtf happened there.

Yeah i agree as his 2004-2007 form was well above average and played that important link up role to perfection at times. 2008 his skill level was terrible! , he used to still rack up the ball but could barely kick it or handball.

Wish we also had Rojo for 2008/2009 as he could have been handy blocking and protecting the young players in Masten,Ebert & Scooter as they were learning their trade.
